I’ve tried other units but then decided to upgrade my system to the DVP S7700. This must be the best dvd player Sony produced. I stopped using my CD player because the sound quality is excellent. The dvds were more natural and clearer. And the colour balance was very accurate while using S Video. DTS movies come out even better, I think that is due to my Sony receiver, a 50 ES. So if you have the extra money, I’d surely recommend the receiver as well. There is no dolby processor built in and I suggest limiting the processing to your receiver.
