Competent CD player 11/07/2008

Advantages Does what it says on the tin - plays CDs - and has a good battery life
Disadvantages Shocking earphones; not very pretty.

I actually bought this because it was on special offer, and not really because I liked the look of it very much - to be honest, the partly see-through off-white on the lid / grey round the sides / cream on the base is not really very attractive. Looks aside, it does what it says on the tin fairly well - it plays CDs with no problems and the shockproof function is very effective. Another handy feature is the battery monitor which shows you how much battery you have left. (It takes two standard AA batteries which are easy to put in.) Battery life is much better than in other models I have had ... more
