Advantages: Good battery time, easy to transport and use
Disadvantages: Poor reliability, started to skip after 2yrs despite anti-skip

I purchased this quite a long time ago, prior to the mp3 craze. I wanted it to use on the school bus and the lengthy playback persuaded me to purchase it over other models. The design is quite nice, at the time it was the slimmest cd player and the metal ring on the lid is a nice touch. If you want to get the full 115 hours of battery life you need to attach a battery connecting pouch which hangs from the cd player ruining the design. If you use the internal battery you get roughly 41 hrs from it. The addition of a remote is quite useful and good to have as to buy it separately it's not cheap. Although there is anti-skip on the cd player I found that after a year or two on the school bus it did begin to skip and I'd have to hold the cd player at certain angles which definitely wasn't what I'd expected considering the price tag ...

It's Sony the best, kind of anyway! (Updated)

Advantages: Top brand, excellent sound quality and durable.
Disadvantages: Headphones supplied with it

Why did I choose Sony? What with Sony being one of the top of the range brand names that you can get, and also having owned various other products of theirs over the years, I had no hesitation from purchasing this product from them! Appearance/layout The Sony D-EJ360 comes in a stylish silver color and is relatively compact in size, which is important to me as I don't want to carry anything around with me that is too bulky! The LCD screen is a decent size and shows you what track is playing, the play mode, remaining battery power, sound mode and the playing time. The control buttons are easily located on the sides of the player and consist of the usual stop, play and pause, skip forward/back a track, volume +/-, bass and repeat mode. Advantages: top sound, good battery life

Sony are well known for the best quality products and ths dej615 cd player is no exception. I got this as a present from my mum for my christmas and am very pleased with it, the sound is great, even at high volume you can get crisp tunes as you go about your business.The unit did cost £89.99 but was from John Lewis so i'm sure you can get it cheaper elsewhere. You get a small unit that connects to the earphones that lets you change volume and song without having to rumage for the cd player. Also if you have to stop it too talk to someone it'll remember where you stopped so you can carry on listening where you finished of as long as you don't open the cd lid.The battery once fully charged will last aroung four hours, enough for anyone. I suppose it costs a bit more than others because it has 'jog proof ...
