I bought this some couple of months and for the purpose of playing music so I wanted a substitute for my Sony Eriksson Walkman phone that has some how low battery life so I had to keep the phone for the purpose of communication only.
Sony got it right this time by working specifically on the battery life and they got it. The major factor that makes me to buy these electronic products is the long battery life.
It has five play back modes that will enable you in play back CD by enabling you to listen a particular track again and again.
It has very advanced mode and method of digital volume adjust by using the push button that is located at the front of the portable music player and by doing so the volume level appears on the LCD screen. The digital mega bass system uses digital processing technology to produce marvelous sound with extremely low harmonic distortion.
It has high image design that enables the lids to resist heat and helps to protect from high temperature build up. Also the automatic volume limiter helps the external sound output regulated.
It also comes with micro dynamic receiver stereo headphone that produces beautiful sound output. In the real sense, the portable music Walkman makes me feel good while listening to music and it also makes me in the world of my own. The most amazing of all is that the portable music machine has automatic antishock system and this enables the portable device to with stand serous distractions like shakes and other distracting factors.
I will recommend this product to friends, family member, and other people that are familiar with me because this is a fantastic and awesome device. But one problem with this is that it is quite expensive and costly as well.
It also has shock proof memory of 20 seconds and this makes the shock proof a very reliable and capable one. The audio system has stereo sound out put mode and with mega bass sound effects.
The heat resistance feature helps the device to with stand some certain heat temperatures.
PRODUCT INFORMATION It has LCD screen display and with slot load media load type.
It has other features like the program play, program repeat, repeat shuffle, all tracks repeat and one-track repeat.
It has headphone and with wired connectivity technology. It also has CD track programming.
In terms of the power production, it has AA battery type and it of the alkaline type. The AA battery has average run time of 15 hours. These are the product features.
MY VERDICT Well I have to start from saying that this is a very fantastic portable music device and it is quite durable and has served quite long for me without any repairs so far. I got this at Amazon .uk and at the price of £250.95, what a costly stuff but I am still not regretting the buy.

to listen to so I thought a personal CD player would be just the thing. I'm not technical enough (or, I'll be honest) or interested enough in MP3 technology to investigate it. I didn't need the most expensive thing in the market for my purposes. After a bit on online research, including Ciao reviews of similar products (and thanks to all of those I read, I knew something about the technology), I decided the SonyD-E220 was the one for me.
The SonyD-E200 come in a choice of two colours - silver or blue. The blue is more of a dusty purply-silver and that's the one I have. (It's also the colour in the Ciao picture.) They were out of the silver at my local Littlewoods that day and I knew the situation was too urgent to wait. I'm perfectly happy with the colour. I paid £49.00 minus a ten percent voucher since the Littlewoods in question ...

I bought this CD player quite a long time ago (2 years) and at the time it cost me a whopping £100. A similar model costs only £49 now. That’s a fair drop in price in just two years, but I guess that’s the price we all pay for technology. Now for the same price you can buy the top of the range model, but the thing is that in the last 3 years portable CD players have moved from being hi-tech cool gear to just bog standard and things like Mini-discs and MP3 players have become the gear to be seen with. They are still extremely useful, however, they have just lost that 'wow' factor they once had. On a side note I think the next popular device will be MP3 CD players, which are like normal portable CD players but play MP3 CD's allowing you to store 200-300 songs on one disc!!
Anyway, getting back to the D-E401. It is ...
