USING

I was looking for something to take to college as I need to listen to music when am working and I wanted something good and decent size so I searched the web for a decent walkman for a ok price but didn’t find anything I preferred so I went to town into my local Argos where I saw the sale leaflet and they had this model for £25 so I went for it as it looked good, had inner ear phones and was made by a good brand Sony.

UNPACKING

This walkman is packaged in a plastic transparent packaging which you has to cut around in order to get the product out and this is what you should get:-

This unit is really simple to use First make sure the shock protection is switched on this switch is located inside the disk tray, now insert the CD or your choice and shut the lid the unit should switch on by it self and check the disk and switch off again. FEATURES

This unit is equipped with a 45 second shock protection which is really useful if you will be constantly moving as so cheaper walkmans do not have this feature and keeps constantly pausing and skipping tracks but this is not a problem with this unit.
This unit also has MEGABASS This basically gives you the option to enhance the bass it gives you two different options, no mega bass, Little mega base and Full mega bass I have it on full as i listen to a lot of rap, Hip Hop and R’N’B music and this make it sound better then most CD players also I have noticed that with other Personal CD players that have bass boast distort the music and make it sound worse but that is not a problem with this.
This also has a hold feature so no buttons will work unless the hold is in the off position which is useful if the unit will be in you pocket.

GENERAL

This unit over all is attractive and good for the price the only thing I was disappointed with the most was that it would not play unbranded CD's properly as it would keep skipping them and I think this unit should be compete with an inline remote for easy access to the tracks. The OSD tell the basic information like Battery life, Volume, Bass option, Repeat and the track number and length.
