Advantages: Size and definition Disadvantages: Fiddly buttons
I just purchased my first Digital Photo Frame and after much research chose the Sony DPF D80, WOW a terrific product. The 8" size makes a real difference versus the more standard 7" versions. The definition and resolution is superb 800x600 and the 4:3 sizing is a major plus. The many available settings are easy to use and I would recommend changing a number of the factory settings to optimise your own displays. I particularly liked the zoom function which provides 4x magnification its terrific! Build quality is superb although I find the tiny on/off switch a little troublesome, it needs a little reaction time to work, so press once and wait a few seconds. Advantages: Good value, good quality photos Disadvantages: A little bit noisy
My father won this photoprinter in a New Year dinner prize draw earlier this year, together with a Sonydigital camera. Being the wonderful dad he is, he gave them as a gift to me and my husband so that we could take some great photo memories. Our version is not black - its the white one.

Advantages: Crisp excellent colour. Brilliant way to show off your snaps. A great feature Disadvantages: No battery facility.

Setup and Installation.
When I got home I took the frame out of the well packed box. It came complete with a transformer to power the frame and also a remote control should you wish to use it. The instruction manual was brief but outlined the instructions with clear images to support the setup.
