SonyECM HSI is easy to handle and you can jus click and soot it has light weight which add another to it .it price are also competitive to others. . As the cam is zoomed from wide angle the mix starts with all onboard finishing with gun mic at full zoom. My first test was to film a commentator from 15 metres away with a video projector running 1 metre to my left. At wide angle the fan noise was very obtrusive. Zooming slowly to a head and shoulders frame produced a remarkable inprovement to the degree that the fan became almost inaudible. another useful feature is the 180deg. swivel enabling pickup from audience questions without loosing frame. I did not detect any pickup of motor noise or electronic interference from the camera. i will recommend to it to others as well. ...

The microphone stick itself can be detached from its base and used as a hand held device but whilst it can be entirely dismantled with ease (so that it is just a mic on the end of a wire,) the stick itself is solid and cannot be manipulated, so should the user wish to physically attach it to their computer, they would probably find it necessary to manoevre themselves so that they are speaking directly into it, as well as using the provided pad for doing so,. -- Due to its lack of malleability, and absence of an earphone, it is not possible to use this product as a headset.
