I changed to a T65 from a Siemens M35i, because I dropped that phone in a puddle which turned out to be rather fatal. The T65 was within my budget, and remarkably well equiped. It has four games which kept my interest relatively well... the best perhaps being the classic tetris. It is possible to submit your best scores via WAP to the Ericsson website, and to see how you compare to the rest of the world which is a funky if unnecessary feature. It has GPRS which if your contract supports, is a great feature for those of you who use WAP. The screen is large and clear, and allows easy surfing of WAP sites and navigation around the phones menus.
It has a built email software, so you can connect to the net, download your emails, and read and reply to them in your own time. This works for anyone with a POP3 compatable mail server... basically if you can check your email with Outlook Express or equivilant, you can check it on the phone. Voice dialing is availble if you want to use it.
It isn't the best phone for writing text messages. Whilst it is possible to string endless messages together, reaching lengths far above 160 characters, the delay between pressing a button and the character appearing is noticable right from the start. This is frustrating, and you can have finished pressing the relevent keys but the characters are still slowly appearing on screen. It is not a major problem, more an annoyance and one I believe the latest software versions correct. You can insert pictures and sounds into your messages, and change the font if sending to a compatable phone.
The biggest concern is about the build quality. The phone is made of two plastic covers around a middle piece. About a month after I brought the phone I began to notice that if you applied some pressure to the front and back of the phone, it was obvious there was some movement between the 2 covers. Apart from that, it has survived being dropped from heights up to 5ft (by accident) onto surfaces varying from concrete to carpet. And it is all still working.

Update
Sorry I forgot to price it for you guys. I brought it from Virgin for £120, although I have a feeling it's not on sale for £100. If you are a student you get a further 10% discount. As I used to be a Virgin customer, I got them to unlock my phone for free. I think they charge £30 otherwise.
Advantages: Good design, easy to use, good reception, good batery life Disadvantages: A little fidley at times, poor selection of ring tones, slow texting
I thought that I had lost all of my messages and numbers when I left my Nokia 3330 ontop of my car and drove off, shortly to see it get run over by the car behind!! What was left? Not much unfortunately, yet the sim card did seem promisingly unscaved!! I called Vodafone and they took me through the usaul rigmarall of insurance and they agreed to send me a new handset but did warn me that it might not be the same one. 'Oh dear' I thought - am I going ... ...very soon when the package arrived, nervously I unwrapped the cardboard waiting to sobber when I realise that I need to rent a new room just to store the phone - but to my great delight I was greeted by the Ericsson T65, smaller than my Nokia 3330 and in my opinion generally a bit better!! The first thing that impressed me was the positioning of the sim card, no more taking off covers, taking out the battery and fiddling with a little card holder ...

Advantages: Efficient, good battery, numerous extras Disadvantages: bad signal, quite complicated to use, sim is difficult to remove and put in, not colour
It has been updated and is not colour which to be honest is a bit old fashioned. It is also impossible to romove the sim and put it back in. It has a very long lasting battery. It is quite cheap now which is useful. The sim takes a lot of info. It is quite small and fits well in almost every pocket. It has a lot of extras and has good games including the classic tetras. There are a lot better phones out there that are cheaper and have better extras ... ...same price. If you are looking at getting this phone try the T68i it is a better phone and made by the same people and is just the upgrade of this phone. The phone book can't take that many names and does not automatically add them to the same. There are good features such as talk activated when you try and call someone etc. It can be confusing though. ...

Advantages: Small, sturdy, long battery life, ok looks Disadvantages: Fiddly operation, slow software, squeaks!
I thought this phone looked pretty stylish when i ordered it, not so sure now. Although it can take a lot of punishment (mine only broke after being run over by a truck), it looks a bit like a toy phone.
The screen is a nice sized, black and white, backlit effort. You can adjust the text size to your preference. The menus are well layed-out and fairly clear to read. Navigation of the menus is easy enough.
The software seems to be rather poorly ... ...since the phone is slow to use (text messaging is dreadful) and occasionally crashes. This is where the phone really shows its weaknesses.
The games include a slow, rubbish version of the classic Pacman, some sort of horoscope thing, and a version of Tetris which they've also miraculously managed to make rubbish. The operation is fiddly, the buttons are tiny, and last but by no means least, the whole phone squeaks like mad when you press any of ...

Advantages: Worth the money Disadvantages: The battery runs out
...The entertainment found on the Sony Ericsson is surpasses that found on the Nokia such as games and can connect to the internet at anytime. This best feature of this phone is that it makes me happy when somebody rings me because I put it on vibrate. If you know what I mean.
So, do go out and buy this phone it is well worth it and it gives me hours of pleasures. ...

Advantages: Looks good Disadvantages: Buttons too small, rececption not great.
We had an old Nokia which as it turns out was far better. The buttons are even too small for my wife to use with ease, and she has small fingers. The screen is a good size and clear, with an easy to use menu. The phone book is very useful, with extra numbers being able to be stored. Reception is not very good, and seems to be badly affected by electrical equipment, computers, etc. The phone looks good and is a great weight, however we are already ...

Advantages: Small in size, good battery life, lightweight, sexy looking, good features Disadvantages: Very Expensive, only about 12,000 colors screen
First of all the phone is a rip-off, other phones in the market are comming out like the Philips 530 and SonyErricsonT610 which have integrated cameras and good screens unlike the Nokia 7250 and have much lower prices.
The 7250 has MMS, GPRS, WAP, FM Stereo, Infra Red, Polyphonic Ringtones, Integrated digital camera, handsfree speaker, Java Technology, TriBand which works in most countries of the world. It's small in size as compared to other phones like the SonyErricsonT610 and Philips 530, being small in size it reduces the space for the color screen, thus the image is smaller and image area is drastically reduced. The color screen has only about 12,000 colors whereas the SonyErricsonT610 and Philips 530 have a very good screen size and 65,000 colors which can enable you to see the finest detail.
The FM Stereo is ...

Advantages: Small, lightweight, 65,000 colors, dual body colors, button spacing Disadvantages: Difficult to use menu, 2MB memory, not many servicing centers, very poor tech support.
!!! Yes we are paying quite a lot so we should get its worth! So SonyErricson has decided to put a wonderfully bright, powerful, clear screen into its T610! It supports a 65,000 colors (65 K) and 128 x 160 pixels has such clarity that any picture taken even when the phone is not steady or moving the picture is very clear. It is a LCD - TFT matrix screen based like the one you see on Laptop computers. The screen is protected by a outer plastic covering like other phones but it doesn't get scratched so easily nor damaged the same.
-Memory-
The memory is not much just 2MB for a camera phone!!! It has no MMC (Memory Card Support) from which you can add more memory, so your stuck with just a 2 MB camera phone! If they are going to release a improved version of T610 I am sure they are going to put more memory at least or MMC slots. This is ...
