Ok, this model is getting a bit old now and they,ve stopped selling the fascias for it, but if you're still considering buying this phone, I would chose another.
I got this phone first about 6 months ago and was happy to get it for £30 with hands-free kit and other stuff, but a couple of weeks of use and the phone's screen stops to work. The phone worked but I couldn't see anything. They happily sent me a replacement after a few free calls but a month ago I started to discover a new problem - my phone kept switching itself off! And for the past two weeks, I haven't been able to get it on at all.
I have heard of other people having similar problems with the A1018s - so be careful.
....Maybe it's something to do with the Exorcist ringtone...
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines

I have seen the fascias for this phone in Carphone Warehouse and also in other mobile phone shops (for £5 upwards). I think it is forecast to be a likely choice for xmas presents this year!

Advantages: plays tunes, changeble face, small, easy to use, text name function Disadvantages: looks a bit outdated now, faces hard to come by, tone not very loud

Advantages: Quick access menu and in call menu, robust, reliable. Disadvantages: Poorly laid out menu system, too big, only 1 or 2 extra features, 11 rubbish ringtones
