When I first got the phone I was very impressed. It had an excellent screen, the ability to compose your own ringtones and a game similar to Tetris on it - very impressive.
Unfortunately, it soon became disappointing. When I used it during a rainy day (which we get a lot of in England), the phone stopped working and made a 'beeping' noise, before turning itself off. I then turned the phone back on without any trouble. I shrugged it off and then put the phone back into my pocket. After about a minute or so, the phone started to make a very loud, irritating noise and it would not switch off so I took out the battery to stop it making the noise. After that, the phone would not switch back on again.
I sent the phone off to Ericsson for a repair under warranty. They then sent the phone back after about a week saying that the phone had major water damage in the electronics and that it was not economically repairable. They said that the phone had been subject to 'adverse conditions' and that I had 'voided my warranty' as a result of this.
All I had done was to use the phone during a very rainy day - I do not believe that this is inappropiate and, as such, I would recommend that no one buys this phone. After this experience, I would not consider any phone from Ericsson.

Yep, its generally known amongst mobile users that ericsson are cruddy!

Hi, I dont know this phone, but it sounds like the best thing would be the Tetris game to me, it beats snake anyday! Helen

Sorry for what is a low rating, but there was not a great deal of product information in this op, and whilst it is useful to know that Ericsson have a bizarre warranty policy, it doesn't really inform me about the product. Advantages: easy to use, good for a starter mobile, excellent durability Disadvantages: lack of features, has become very dated compared with new phones
