Basic Overview and My Opinion

I have used this headset for several months - I own both this headset and Nokia HWD1. This headset I prefer. My main reason for this is it is so easy to put on your ear - the movable arm makes it so easy to slip it on. The sound quality is second to none (you don't know you are wearing it and neither does whoever you are talking to). The battery life is very good. It looks nice, is not too cumbersome and most importantly is legal. It has changeable covers (red and grey supplied) so you can change these very easily with your mood. The headset is definitely value for money and is extremely reliable. The set can be charged with the same plug in or car charger as you Sony Ericsson mobile if you have one. The description of the headset on the box is available in 6 languages and basically says:

In the box you get 2 colored covers grey and red so dependant how out going you are depends to which one of these you choose to wear.

I chose the grey one. The headset came with the red one attached and initially I couldn't get it off to change it - I think I was a little frightened of snapping it however you literally pop your nail underneath it and flip it off - the next one fits on really easy. Just lay the cover on the headset and push down and it will clip into position.

I use my headset with a Sony Ericsson phone and it works perfectly well - I have also had it connected to a Nokia and this also worked perfectly. Other than that I have had no experience with other manufacturer's phones.

More Techy Stuff

The headset volume can be both increased and decreased with convenient buttons on wither side of the headset (+ and -). Pressing these 2 buttons together activates the mute feature of the headset - pressing them together again de activates it.

To use the headset with your phone you must go through a procedure called "pairing" this procedure is expained on the instruction booklet with the headset. This is a simple procedure that usually only needs doing once. NB You will need the passkey for the device to do this - again this is detailed in the instruction book.

I could go into how to use the headset but really that is not necessary in this review as if you decide to buy the headset then the instruction manual is adequate for this.

What I do need to do as part of this review is advise you if I would buy the headset again given the opportunity or if it was necessary. The answer to this is Yes Yes Yes without a doubt - I have been more than please with the quality of sound from the headset, the ease of use and the features available. I would recommend this to anyone.
