I got the C902 on a contract upgrade in January of this year, after 11 months of useage it is definitely a firm favourite of mine.
The main draw to the phone for me was the five mega pixel camera and although there are phones with better cameras available I didn't like the bulkiness of them, where as the C902 still manages remain a nice slender phone. It also has a video function but I don't really use this so can't comment on it.
I like the slide action which switches it from phone to camera. The screen has a few touch screen buttons which can be used to switch between still photos and video. They can also change the autofocus, flash, self-timer and other functions. One of the best features of the camera is the face detection setting which automatically focuses in on a face when taking a picture. The camera comes with a LED flash which isn't quite as good as the xenon flash on my previous K810. On 3G networks you can make video calls.
The C902 takes an M2 memory card which I already had as my previous one took the same. If you intend to use the camera feature of the phone then this is a much needed purchase as the internal memory doesn't last very long once you get snapping. I think Sony are intending to phase out the M2 card though so this would be worth considering before buying one.

I do find that after a few months the battery life doesn't seem to last that long, turning off the bluetooth does help make it last it a bit longer though.
If you don't have or want a contract phone you can buy this on Pay & Go for about £120.
Advantages: Camera quality, number of additional features, Battery life, Modern. Disadvantages: Slow when loading the camera, speaker quality, positioning of headphone/charger socket.
The C902 is the second Sony Ericsson I have owned (after the k800i) and I love it!!

The most popular colour for this phone is black, but you can get it in red and silver/blue too. The phone is fairly slim, but may look 'bulky' compared to other phones that are available now. It is also 'quite' heavy, you wouldn't expect it from it's size - heavier than you imagine it to be. Although this isn't a problem. The keypad are easy to use and look ... ...the phone, which is how Sony Ericsson have portrayed it in television commericals and magazine advertisements. It's 5 megapixel with touch sensitive buttons on the screen. Cleverly designed, the camera slides out the top of the phone (discreet, stylish and good so it isn't easy to damage!) Once you slide the camera out, the phone automatically changes to the camera, and a blue strip will light up on the front. Then the fun begins... theres touchscreen ...

The new Sony Ericsson C902 phone is by far my favourite phone.
Forgive me for being simple with some explanations but I have never had a Sony Ericsson before so some features I describe may not be new or novel.
The first thing I noticed as I opened the box was the array of things that come with. A simple to use manual which only gives the most basic of information (but thats all you really need), some ear phones with built in antenna for the radio ... ...I am yet to test on my mac but previous phone software has worked.
The definate selling point of this phone is the camera. A Whopping 5 Megapixel camera which effortlessly slides out of the top of the phone. Its beautifully designed so that it doesn't get damaged. A little blue neon strip lights up when you pull it out (great for those nights out when its dark and you can't see the camera!) and around the display which is thankfully in landscape ...

So the vamped up K850i has now been set loose. Its nothing too fancy, It hasn't got bold features like an all over touch screen; it hasn't got Wi-Fi or anything posh like that. It's just simple to use, doesn't come with an inch thick manual or a system that keeps crashing and has a decent camera that doesn't take 30 seconds to take a snap.
The C902 looks nice, feels solid and doesn't have tiny tiny buttons like its predecessor. It's got a 5 mega ... ...these days including 3G Internet, simple. You get the usual kit in the box, a standard earphones/hands free, charger (which has a very clever slot so you can plug in your earphones into so you can go hands free while you charge, clever!), data cable, software and the all-important manual.
First things first, putting it together. The back plate is fiddly and you have to prize it off slightly, if you have strong fingernails then it's not too bad to ...

I am a big Sony Ericsson fan this phone is great. slim and sleak. hard to text sometimes though. great camera and battery is ok. I have had this phone for a week and love it. Although don't like taking the back cover off just to get to the memory card. Internet is also fast on this. I am with orange pay monthly and this phone is a must have for me. The best thing is Orange have given me this phone for £9.79 a month with 200 minutes and unlimited ...

This Sony does most of what you really need from a good phone. *Style* A modern looking design with a hidden camera that becomes useable when sliding out the top of the phone. The buttons aren't the easiest to use as they are quite close together, so for bigger fingers ... ...wish. The camera on this Sony is 5.0MP and takes a very clear photo. The main problem is that it doesnt let in an awful lot of light and so images can appear dark. If looking for a camera phone don't buy this. *Sound/Music* The speaker on this phone is good and so playing music when you are in the shower isnt a problem. The sounds may be a little harsh at top volume but isnt distorted. *Battery* The battery life isn't the best and i find myself charging ...

This phone works great!!! Over the years I have used many type of phone and ?SonyEricssonC902? is one of the coolest phones I have used. It has a fancy looking 5MP Cyber-shot camera which gave very good high quality pictures and once we turn-on the camera the screen automatically activates the touch screen buttons which is totally cool. And talking about the phone looks, it has 240x320 pixels screen. Phone has a very good keypad and central joystick which is totally a smart classic looking one. And its fairly slim phone and weight is also good into my hand (weight is about 107g). And further the phone is 3G (HSDPA, 3.6 Mbps). And it also has Smart handset that gives very good sound. And power consumption is also not bad. I am recommending this phone to anyone... ...
