Well Sony Ericsson hav done it again. Yet another phone where the main feature is it's photographic capability.
With an 8.1 megapixal camera you are gauranteed to be able to take that perfect snapshot when out and about.
I suppose it's a concept that makes sense. I'm sure most of us take our mobile phones everywhere with us and the majority of us would be lost without it, so why not include a feature that allows you to leave the digital camera at home.
The phone comes complete with the following functionality.
1. Picture blogging 2. Auto focus 3.Xenon flash 4.Wallpaper animation 5.Digital Zoom 6. Image stabiliser 7.Camera 8. video Recorder 9. Video stabiliser
This phone comes with a 2GB memory card and also a pen drive that allows you to slot your memory card into the holder and transfer files in the easiest way without having to go to all the trouble of installing phone software, which I think is a great idea cause every time I change my phone I have to delete and reload new software onto my PC which can sometimes be quite time consuming. It also allows you to pack those annoying connection cables away.
As with most modern phones this also has bluetooth capability which allows you to transfer files such as pictures and music etc to those closest to you without interference and best of all - it's free. It also has wifi capabilities to allow you to connect to the internet wherever there is a wireless connection, and - wait for it, a GPS system. A tracking device on your phone so you can't ever get lost. Great for the outdoor adventurer.
So how does the phone look. Well I have to be honest, it's a lot bigger than my old phone which was the Sony Ericsson K850i, but comes in a nice icy silver colour. It's essentially a slide phone which I've never been too keen on in the past and I find that the screen is very prone to finger print markings as you are constantly pushing up on it with your thumb. The key pad is located underneath the facia but you can answer calls and read messages without having to slide the phone up. The charging connection is located on the side of the phone.
One of the poorer qualities of this phone is it's limited battery life. The battery seems to last only a day and drains pretty quickly after phone calls.
My final thoughts. It's a great phone if you're looking for a phone with great camera capabilities. I have taken a few happy snaps with this and I have to say that the images are outstanding. Just as good if not better than my digital camera with sharp images and excellent colour. The actuall call and messaging capabilities are much the same as any other phone so if you're looking for something a little bit different with a lot more features than your average phone I would recommend this one.

Advantages: Superb camera, wide ralnge of features, good for calls and texting. Disadvantages: Still the age old slide phone issue. Battery life varies with use.
