sony ericsson have a bit of a reputation these days for making high quality camera phones or walkmans. This is beginning ot change, with the newest range of SE phones being masters of all trades :)
with the c905, its has a crackin 8mp camera with a xenon flash, but more importantly it has a 16million colour screen, so you can actually VIEW the pictures properly on the phone. *NOTE* when looking for a phone camera, megapixel isnt too important unless you are going to upload the photos to a computer. if you are just goin to view them on the phone screen, look for the actual resolution of the screen itself.
STYLE
the phone looks great. no two ways about it. good slide mechanism, which doesnt break or get stiff after repeated use as some phones do. the phone itself is vey light and thin, with the keypad very elegantly hidden behind the screen. Nice rounded edges on this phone make it an eye-catcher when you flip it out, and more often than not people will stare (no pun intended ;) )
USES
phone itself has great camera, good mp3 player with video playback etc. can handle different types of music format, aac, mp3 etc. speaker on the phone isnt too impressive, being a camera phone more than walkman, but a set of sony ericsson travel speakers are easy to come by, and will give you brilliant sound with a good camera to boot :)
internet on this phone is very speedy, with 3G speeds, EDGE, HSDPA etc so all the downloads you can manage. it also comes with wifi, to save you some extra pennies.
BATTERY
battery on all SE phones is pretty good, with this one you are looking at about 5hours average talktime and about 350 hours standby, which is pretty good. obviously doesnt include if you use the camera lots, or internet, and the wifi has a tendancy to sap the battery a bit :(
EASE
phone is very easy to use. you could give it to a monkey and it would have no problems, but im sure that would be breaking some laws........
nice and easy menu system, unfortunately doesnt have the touchscreen buttons of the c902, but camers features are easy to use anyway. direct acess to different features through shortcuts etc, all the standard stuff basically.
if you havent used a SE before, it will take a little getting used to when it comes to texting, but thats only for the first few messages.
OVERALL
phone gets an 8/10, purely losing a few points because it is no longer a new phone on the market, and some others have equal features etc.
if you want a touchscreen, dont get this phone. duh! if you dont like touchscreen and are thinking about a samsung, get the sony ericsson :) its a better phone, and the features are all the same plus a little bit more.
dont forget to rate! :)
cheers

How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
Advantages: Superb camera, wide ralnge of features, good for calls and texting. Disadvantages: Still the age old slide phone issue. Battery life varies with use.
