I bought this phone three days ago at a shopping mall. One reason why I purchased this phone is for the sole purpose of playing. Another reason is that I found its looks attractive and stylish, with its nice exterior finishes.
I don't have a Nintendo Wii and I am a fan of it. However, I found the F305 to be the best substitute for the Wii, whilst experimenting with its features last night at the comfort of my home.
Sony Ericsson's F305 is the latest gaming phone with motion sensor technology and delicate game controls. This phone was targeted at youths and game fanatics. It uses its camera to recognise and respond accordingly to user movements during gameplay. For example, when you are playing with the F305's Bowling game, you need to swing the phone as if you were playing bowling. Another example is, in Black Bass Fishing, you must pull the phone back and forth just as you are really fishing in real life. The motion sensor was very accurate in acting responding to my actions. Other than these two games, the F305 comes with 10 other Java games that include, Fever GT, Sims 2 etc.
However, not all the bundled games can be played using the motion sensor technology. More games may be downloaded from Sony Ericsson and PlayNow with a small charge.
While we have all the plus points here, the disadvantage of the phone is that, the 2-inch screen is a bit too small, therefore there may not be a more optimized gameplay. Something I like about the phone is that, it has a pair of high quality stereo speakers, friendly to our ears and enabling a good gameplay despite the small screen. The F305 has the basic features that a phone has---FM radio, a music player and web browsing.
I have used the F305's camera function and was a little bit disappointed. Using the 2-megapixel camera to shoot some pictures of the scenery outside my house and viewing it during the day, the pictures looked washed out. There are no advanced features present in the F305, which are found in higher-end Sony Ericsson phones.
Final conclusion
The F305 is a great phone for music and games. What a waste it has a small screen, otherwise, be it listening to music or playing games, it would have been much better than now.

Sony ericsson is a very good gaming phone. I got this phone and i love it. There is build in motion sensor so you can to motion gaming like: Bowling, Fishing and horse riding. On the phone i 11difrent games but if you buy it whit memory card you get free 50 games, so think if you buy the phone you get free 61 games where 3 is motion games and you an download games frome internet like www.mobile9.com and more.
