It was yet another Saturday and I was out with my friends. Everything was fine until I dropped my Nokia3310 phone on the ground and the display broke, fortunately a friend of mine gave his Ericsson GA628 to me for FREE a couple of months ago. I changed simcard and once again had a mobilephone of my own.

The first thing you notice about the phone is that it's too big to fit your pocket and once you turned this thing on you notice that the display can only show 10 letters at once!! If this thing doesn't already make you curse the damn thing, then the way to operate this thing definately will do. Since I didn't get any instructionmanual it took me weeks just to figure out how to just delete messages that you wrote yourself. I got this phone secondhand so I guess I can't tell how good the battery was when it was new, but I can tell that for me it holds only about 1 day in standby mode and you can make about 1 minute long phonecall with full battery. Another thing that annoys me is the keylock which comes on every 20th second you don't do anything. If you for instance are writing a SMS and the keylock goes on, you will loose your whole message.

I read a lot of negative comments on this phone, but never seen any technical details on it, so here you can read the most useful.

If you are looking for a cheap phone then get Nokia 5110 for instance, this phone is definately not worth the money.
