The SonyEricsson X1 is the first in the new range of Xperia products by SonyEricsson.
Although the product isn't released until 30th September 2008, I have had the pleasure to use one of the pre-production models for around two weeks. Whilst there are improvements on the launch model, I am confident that the pre-production model has given me an insight in to what to expect from this handset.
The X1 is the first, and possibly the last SonyEricsson handset to use the Windows as an operating system. It uses Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. SonyEricsson have not yet commented on whether the handset can be upgraded to Windows Mobile 7, however it doesn't seem they plan to release any further Windows based handsets.

When you talk of phones, you remember of the Sonny ericssonP900. The bulkiness of the phone and its beauty of the flap it gets and the touch screen she has coupled with the pen its got. This phone is very unique in its appearance into the world of phones unlike her rival P900i with light differences, this makes it a model. The P900i is a dual master of a PDA and a smart phone combined. The easiness given her by the CIC Jot handwriting recognition system is wonderful.
The P900 which is a Symbian 7.0 has got the 208x320 pixels display screen better off the predecessor P800. Themes which is not an added advantage to the phone, make it an advantage to the P800 because you have different colours, sounds, pictures when the flip is opened or closed depending on how you define them.

I have always had a SonyEricsson phone eversince i brought my first phone when i was very young. I really like the make and have never had any problems with SonyEricsson phones, however i brought the W580i sometime last year and have been a bit dissapointed with its performance. I brought the phone from the carphone warehouse as i could it on the network that i wanted and for the first 6 months everything was fine but all of a sudden i began to have problems with the screen. I took it back to the shop and was told that this was quite a common problem with this model of phone. It was sent off to be repaired twice and has been ok since *touch wood!* The walkman on the phone is brilliant, it holds lots of music and the sound is really clear, the camera quality is also very good. It is an ideal shape as it can fit in to your pocket easily ...
