Generally a great phone overall for the price, with plenty of features and a nice style.
Making calls is no problem, and it's great to seetri-band functionality on a phone of this price. Texting is also fine, although the screen doesn't display many lines of text at once whilst you're editing so so it's difficult to get an overall feel for how you're message is going.
The reminders function is brilliant - something I came to depend on whilst using the phone and found very difficult to live without afterwards. The rest of the standard organiser functions are also perfectly functionable.
Don't buy this phone because of the camera - it's fine for a few fun photos and videos, but the quality is only really useful for viewing again on the phone itself.
My rating for this model falls down because the joystick on mine gave out after just a year. Many of my friends with Sony Ericsson joystick phones are also experiencing this problem, which is extremely irritating and seems to be a basic design flaw.
A great buy if you're lucky with the joystick, but those who want a phone guaranteed for a long time should look elsewhere. Or at the very least, make sure you take out extended cover!

Advantages: Cheap, good-looking, functional, lovely slide mechanism Disadvantages: Customisation is limited, settings can be fiddly, no dictionary for predictive texts
