I bought the phone as a replacement for my tired looking Nokia 6230i. The phone cost only £79.99 from Carphone Warehouse (that was with trade in and the free £10 credit). Anyway here are the main features: Design The design for this phone is very eyecatching, and makes it look alot more expensive than it really is. The phone is only 14.5mm thick so will go unoticable in jeans pockets, yet still have enough depth to fit well in oyur palm. Thin, silver keys (measuring about 1mm x 3mm) are used, although these often frighten potential customers away (fearing for their fingers safety), they are really very comfortable and easy to use. On the back of the phone is an active lens cover (camera turns on when opened), this is a good feature as it protects the camera however I fear that in a years time it may be quite loose.
Features: The phone features all the usual things found on phones today Messaging, MP3 Player, Radio, Games etc. Some other good features include Track ID, whereby you hold the phone up to music and it will recognise it for you. This is a free service although you will be charged for the Internet connection (so only a couple of pence each try). Have used this a few times and it is very accurate. Another great feature is the Activity Button, this takes you to all "new events" (texts, missed calls etc), shortcuts and even shows running applications (applications can be minimized like on a computer). Camera: The main selling point of the phone is the 2megapixel "Cybershot" camera. As Ive mentioned before it is housed on the back of the phone behind a lens cover. The camera menu is extremely easy to use with settings shown like on a digital camera. Their is a camera button on the side of the phone, however this is not very responsive so using the navigation button is easier. Picture quality is amazingly clear on outdoor photos (actually comparable to those of an ctual camera), however...pictures taken indoors are not as good and come out grainy on many shots, even when using the integrated flash. Overall though it is very good in comparison with other camera phones. However Sony's older model, the K750i, is known to have a better camera than this.
Ease of use: My favourite thing about this phone is the speed, menus open instantly, and even picture thumbnails can be flicked through at a good speed. There are no "load times" as such. Menus are very clear, and when looking through files the phone has tabs to split them into those on the phone, memory card or on both. In the box: Usual stuff: Handset, Manual, 512MB Memory Card (this may be just an offer), Headphones/Radio Antenna, Battery, Charger, Multimedia CD.
Overall: This is one of the best phones on the market for the price.
