When you think Sony Ericsson and Phone, you just have a picture of an expensive walkman thing that's just hyped up. Not with the K550i! It is now quite cheap to pick up and to be honest, it's not much far behind newer phones. The K550i is an upgrade to the incredibly popular K500i and it's just so much better! The camera isn't awesome at 2MP but ample, but that's only half the story. This phone takes some stunning pictures which when first viewed you won't be able to tell that it has been taken with only a 2mp camera. The video is equally impressive. In fact, both the camera and video are much better quality than many supposedly better and more expensive phones. And then there's the music player which as expected is of top sound quality. 64MB internal memory isn't going to store more than 1 album at most but the compatibility for a Memory Stick Micro card up to 2gig is a reasonable solution. As per usual, it has TrackID where you can record part of a track from a radio etc and then it will find that track for you to download. The K550i is good at its price and is available in white or black. It is light and easy to use. It has a voice recorder and a web browser. Battery life is fairly good, though it is impossible to determine how good the battery will be for individuals, due to the different uses we have for it. The phone is generally impressive and at quite a good price it is a bargain! It looks quite well specified for a cheap phone and it's light at 85 grams as well, always a plus point for me. David

I didn't know whether to rate this H or VH. I went with H in the end as I think you could have added a little more detail about each feature. If you edit i'd be happy to rerate as this sounds like a good phone xx
Advantages: Good looking, durable, good range of features, cheap Disadvantages: keys freeze sometimes(after 1 yr of usage probably through my own fault)
