In this review are all my own opinion and experience that I have using the K700i. I only had the phone for about two weeks, but I'll try my best to describe it as detailed as possible. I decided that I wanted the phone before it was even released, because I find that Sony Ericsson phones are the best to use out of all the others I had. Before the K700i I had a T300 and had it for a year until my contract ended. I really liked the phone, not because of the look, but the functions. Back to the K700i, the day that the phone arrived I obviously was very happy and tried out everything in, on and around the phone. BUT the same problem as nearly all the other SonyEs (maybe not every single one) is that the phone crashes like a PC and usually need to pull out the battery to solve the problem. It happened twice since I bought the phone, but all SonyEs seem to have this problem, because the last T300 I had had it, a few people I know who has/had T68i
and a friend with P900 all experienced the same.
The software itslef seems to me to be a bit slow compared to the Nokia 6230 my brother's got, especially when trying to open larger files and folders. The other thing I can't figure out is that some of the pictures I've taken with the built-in camera somehow disappeares. Some of the images have stayed, but some kind of deletes itself and can't be found anywhere in the phone, so I'd recommend you get a USB cable to connect to your PC and save the images onto the computer in case it gets lost. Also sometimes, I can't move pictures from one folder to another and if I try a few more times the picture(s) disappeare(s) again. I really don't know what the problem is.
Forget about images disappearing, the camera on the other hand, is really cool. There's a button on the top left side of the phone, where the camera can be switched on when kept pressed down. Then underneath that button there's a 'plus' and 'minus', where you can set the contrast of the picture (i.e., brighter or darker). When the Navigation Key is pushed up the image can be zoomed twice the size. If you push the Navigation Key to the left, then you can switch to video and record personal video clips. Again, you can zoom and set the contrast. If you press the MORE when set to photo a menu will appeare with the following options: View all pictures, Switch to video, Picture size (sizes are 640x480, 320x240 and 160x120 pixels), Night mode, Effects (including panorama), Frames, Picture quality, Light, Self-timer and Default name (you can change the default name for your pictures). Then in the video menu there are: View all clips, Switch to photo, Video size (176x144 and 128x 96 pixels), Night mode, Effects, Video length, Light and again Default name.
On the other side of the phone there's an online button, where it takes you onto WAP when pressed once. Then you can download all sorts of ringtones, clips, wallpaper, etc.. On the top of the phone is the ON/OFF switch for the phone, and at the bottom there's a cover that you flip open for the charger, hands-free kit and USB. I personally don't really like the design of that flip, because it feels like it can brake easily if used often, but on the other hand it keeps out all the dust and dirt. On the back of the phone is the didgital camera with a little circle on its bottom right hand side, which is the light. The light is quite bright and does make a difference when taking pictures in a slightly darker atmosphere.
At the very front of the phone there's obviously a screen, and underneath that there's a Navigation Key. The 'N' key can be pressed down, which leads you to the main menu and pushing it to the left, right, top or bottom will lead you into shortcut(s) that was or you have set. The phone itself has set the pushing-to-top to the Media Player, pushing-to-left is Write New for SMS and MMS, pushing-to-bottom is Contacts and pushing-to-right is up to you what you'd like it to be. On the either side of the 'N' key are two other keys that are Calls and More when you're at the Desktop of the phone. When you press the Calls key you will find Missed Calls, Dialled Numbers, Unanswered Calls and Answered Calls. For the More key on the Desktop it's Turn on silent, Turn on Bluetooth, Turn on Infrared, Phone status and shortcuts. So this is another little shortcut that than the 'N' key. When for example the Bluetooth is switched on then the next time you go in the shortcut it'll be the opposite, which is Turn off Bluetooth.
The Media Player is a place where it allows you to save songs and listen to them (including with Headphones), so this is an MP3 feature, which is quite handy and the sound quality for a mobile phone is honestly not that bad.
I know there are a lot of things I haven't covered in this review and I'd really like to continue, but I don't and wouldn't have time to finish until Christmas, but I really want to share some of my views, so here you go. Thanks for reading and sorry for not completing!!!
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
I noticed on my k700i that its file management system wasnt particularly great. If you renamed a photo to a filename you already had anywhere else on the phone then the thumbnail of the original image would be shown for all files with that name. If you also tried to move an image to a folder where that filename already existed then nothing would happen, no messages to say that file already existed...and finally, if I thought I lost an image they normally turned up in the pictures folder. This area of the phone appears to have not been tested very well. Anyway helpful review nonetheless. David

I'm sticking to my Nokia, but it still sounds good. A great review and a big welcome to Ciao! Leila :)

The film is a tough almost invisible layer of protection to many applications.Repairs scratched surfacesIf you want to leave fine scratches in mobile displays, or watch glasses disappear, you should try Vikuiti TM CV8. Scratches, which correspond to a process with 500 grit sandpaper on polycarbonate or acrylic glass, are elemeniniert by the special adhesive film. That needs to be cleaned the screen. The adhesive then flows into the grooves and makes them invisible.Protection against scratchesIn the test after 5000 were round-to-side movements with steel wool under pressure, no scratches seen. For comparison: Simple transport protective films were scratched after the first test cycle.Bubble-freeBefore the film can be laminated to the substrate must be cleaned. Moistening of the display is not required, but may simplify the assembly process. If after installation or air bubbles to be seen (no dust inclusions!), They will be gone after 24 hours without any help.
