Advantages Practical little phone, no fuss

Disadvantages Very dated now and hard to get hold of a good one.

Review summary
If you want an upgrade from a T610 or T630 or other older Sony models then this is definitely the best way to go!

The shape of the phone is quite small and rectangular and in my opinion isnt very friendly to hold but doesn't take up a considerable amount of space in the pocket (providing you have large pockets) however it does have a little rubber seal on the back and this makes it hard to drop.

Calls on this phone are of Good quality, no problems with either party, the speaker phone is quite good as well but I wouldn't recommend for calls.

as with all Sony Ericsson phones with there dedicated software the text communication is easy and fast.

The phones operating system is Sony Ericsson own and if you have had a sony ericsson phone in the past you will be able to pick it up in no time at all as most of the options and icons remain the same as previous models, this however doesnt hold much option to customising the user interface as many of the newer andriod operating systems do.

The phone is not very web friendly, it appears to be slow even using alternate applications, I find the screen a strain on my eyes when trying to view websites

The screen on the phone is quite small compared to many of the phones on the market now, not very usefull when veiwing pictures and watching videos if hard.

The keyboard is very practical and easy to work with, Sony moved a step forward with this phone replacing the joystick with a little button.

Battery life on this phone is of average quality, would require charging every other day with an average use.

The phone being a sony ericsson means you can add on features such as games and applications but they have to be for the Java format .jar and themes have to be in sonys own format but the content is limited compared to the android market.

The charger for this phone is the sony ericsson own, this is a very durable charger and does the job well, the only downside is that you have the charging port on the phone is fairly large and can often fill with durt if you work in a dusty environment such as a building site or workshop.

As far as the sound and music is concerned it is quite poor being one of the first phones to play MP3's, and as with all K models they lack the music recognition and only basic headphones are provided.
