Lets take a tour of the Sony Ericcson K770i, what do you get for your money exactly? Well, you actually get quite a lot. Although it is now a slightly older phone, you still get a 3.2 megapixel cybershot camera with autofocus, which will allow you to take photos or capture video, both of which are, in my opinion, good quality. Other features to do with the camera are its easy to use settings, like nightmode, timer and it even has a macro setting. All of these features are accessible by one touch of the keypad on different keys. When you open the nifty, long sliding lens cover the white glow of the keys transforms into a blue aura around the phone, meaning even in the dark you can still see what buttons you are pressing. The light is an LED, rather than a Xenon like in the K800i, but its still a decent brightness. You get all your standard features, like alarm clock, timer and calculator, it seems like they have thought of everything including an SOS light signal, just in case you ever need that. The background, screensaver and menus can all be customized using your own images on the CD software included if, that is you can figure out how to use it. Theres also a music player, where you can create your own playlists and a music DJ, which i find rather confusing to use, but its nice they thought of that anyway. Music quality is fair, so if you want a music phone then i would suggest something from the W series. Battery life is a slight issue and you might find yourself a little short on battery after a busy weekend away, but it will tell you how much % battery you have left, which is nice. Its quite robust for a rather slim phone and the screen is reasonably difficult to scratch, though if you work in a harsh environment, then it could be at risk of getting dust and bits under the edges of the screen. Overall, though a very good phone. Good value for money too, i got mine in december '08 for £75, which was part of a deal for spending so much in-store, otherwise £95, which is still pretty good.
