Had few problems when first got phone but this was due to network faults rather than phone.
S500i will defiantly turn heads. It is equipped with many features for the mobile phone user who is always on the go & wanting to stay in contact with friends, family & work colleagues. The overall design & style of the phone I believe is inspired by nature which includes the colour of the handset, the internal patterns & materials used to create a smooth desirable handset. S500i comes with a smooth slide opening mechanism which when opened reveals the sleek keypad & natural design of phone. The phone comes with hidden light effects which brings the S500i alive when an incoming call comes in. Has a large & clear screen which displays up to 262k colours on a 240 x 320 pixels resolution screen. The screen can be viewed when the S500i is in the slide open or slide closed position which provides for continuous viewing. Phone comes with a built in 2 megapixel camera complete with dedicated menus, 4 x digital zoom & direct interaction with the phones messaging services. S500i comes with a large & clear screen which displays up to 262k colours on a 240 x 320 pixels resolution screen. The screen can be viewed when the S500i is in the slide open or slide closed position which provides the user with continuous viewing.
I could go on and on about this phone!
For me, this is ideal, it looks the part, is very light so is not heavy in the pocket and the phone is very sleek, you wouldn't notice if someone had this in their pocket. The large screen is perfect for those with poorer eyesight and for playing games! Even comes with a built-in 'brain training' game, quality!
Only downsides I can think of is that the buttons may seem a little plastic, and so unsure on their durability and the fact that you hav to wipe the phone on a regular basis to remove finger marks! The phone did not come with a memory card (micro m2 card) so is something I had to buy separately (2gb for about £20). The card is something you need if you wish to purchase more games or add your own music to the phone either phone ringtones or generally just to listen to.
Phone is equipped with all the standards we expect nowadays, bluetooth, gprs, wap, sms, mms, mp3 compatibility, usb, quadband, rss feeds etc etc
Overall, very, very few people would be disappointed with a phone like this.
