The Sony Ericsson S500i is the best phone that I have had, and I have had a lot of phones reasons why it is a great phone are shown below along with a few bad points but every phone has bad points this one has a little less than other phones.
The fact that it is a slide phone mean that it is helpful for calls all you have to do is just have slide it up and the call is answered. The phone has great reception, which is good because the majority of phones have not so good reception but if you want a phone the better the reception the better the phone actually is.
The phones colour is fantastic, I have owned many phones, but this one is the best by far. The phone has a 2.0 mega pixels camera which is great for videos and pictures the effects that the photoDJ have are brilliant it allows you to add clipart in and change the contrast and brightness and also has red eye removal and a lot more. You can also take a picture in black and white, negative, sepia or just normal.
The mp3 player is great as you can listen to your favourite songs whilst texting and the song stops when you have a text and starts where it left off after your alerted the text is there.
The entertainment is great too, it includes two free games when I got my phone it had Brain Juice which is just like brain academy on the Nintendo DS which is like an exercise for your brain, it keeps a pie chart of your visual percentage your memory and math percentage, perfect for students to flex their minds. The other game I had was a game called Lumines Block Challenge which is a lot of fun and a numbers of levels to complete; it's a game for Tetris lovers to enjoy. The entertainment section also includes a Video player to watch your Videos, VideoDJ to make your own video and include pictures and text and sounds, photoDJ as I explained above, MusicDJ where you can make your own sounds, Bluetooth Remote control to connect to your desktop or media player and you can Record sounds also.
There is also an Organizer section of the phone which has things such as: - Calendar - Tasks - Notes (which you can Bluetooth to other phones) - Synchronization (Yet to be used) - Timer - Stopwatch - Calculator - Code memo (store all of your pins etc)
The only downside I can think of about this phone is the memory space apart from the fact you can have a memory card which gives you more space but I didn't get a memory card free which is a pain as there is limited space available. Apart from that I have enjoyed this phone a great deal and think it is suitable for any student or businessman.
Thanks for reading Dexter.

Good review. Thinking of buying this phone. Was just wondering if it has photo id for text messages? I had it on my sony ericsson w850i and although its not really important I quite liked it.

Glad to see you are still active on here - so many of those in my circle of trust seem to have disappeared. Very good review I enjoyed the details , and I must say your spelling is now much improved - keep up the good work and I will keep reading all your reviews.
