I have contacted Sony Ericsson support for any tricks. Their answer was : "We are sorry to say that it is not possible to transfer your contacts from your Sony Ericsson T303 onto your PC. Recently I need a mobile phone for emergency purposes and therefore I bought this phone from Tesco for £39.97 (Tesco mobile network, pay-as-you-go).
The attractive points of this phone for me are: 1. Triband - less geographical restrictions when I am out of this country. 2. Compact and stylish looking - easy to fit into a pocket. 3. Bigger buttons - easier to press than other phone. 4. Camera - just when I want to take a picture provided that quality is not the issue.
The reception of this phone is okay (Tesco network partnered with O2). Also, I have the option to unlock my phone from Tesco network after 3 months + a minimum top up of £25. Unlike Nokia phones that you can unlock it from any network using codes (it worked, I have unlocked my wife's Nokia phone recently), you can not unlock the Sony Ericsson phones easily. 2. No additional memory card slot - no chance of pumping up your phone memory. No solution.
3. Can not backup contacts from mobile to PC. Beware! For my wife's Nokia 3220, I can transfer the contacts between the phone and the PC. It is easier to edit the contacts in the PC using the Nokia PC suite. For Sony Ericsson, this is not possible. You can not access the contacts info by connecting the phone to the PC via a USB cable either. No solution. I have contacted Sony Ericsson support for any tricks. Their answer was : "We are sorry to say that it is not possible to transfer your contacts from your Sony Ericsson T303 onto your PC. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause." If you have a huge contact list, do not use this phone or use it and pray that nothing will happen to wipe out the whole list one day
4. No video capability - no video messaging No solution.
I will recommend this phone to people who: 1. do not mind using a basic phone for phoning/texting and occasionaly taking a photo e.g. forgot you camera. 2. wants to have a phone that works in the US/Asia (some part of them, you need quadband for all) as well. 3. has big fingers. 4. wants a phone with good battery life - talk time up to 9 hours and standby up to 400 hours. Not bad at all.
Advantages: Nice simple features, its also nice shiney and sleek Disadvantages: Not very good picture quality

I recently got this mobile for a friend who describes himself as 'technically challenged' and he can work it. While this is your basic make calls and text phone the advantage is in its ease of use. This mobile is compact yet sturdy, and that combined with its ease of use make this a great little bargain for anyone looking for a basic phone. The phone also has a camera that takes reasonable quality pictures and plenty of space to store them - so perhaps not so basic after all. As an added bonus it even comes with games that will keep an idle mind occupied for ten minutes. We have had no issues at all with this phone - battery lasts longer than we expected and it charges up in about 2 hours. Unlike previous phones it has never crashed on us and of course with less technical features it is less likely to develop a fault. I would not ...

I purchased a SonyEricssonT303 after hearing how great SonyEricsson phones are from a friend but was the friend right?
I have found some really great things about the T303, for example I like the slider motion on this phone, the screen I have found clear to see and I have found that the speaker and microphone quality both seem to be very good as well however this is pretty much where it ends with the positived.
I have noticed a slight issue with the main buttons (non alpha-numeric) when you are sending texts in that it is as if the buttons are not quite lined up as perfectly as they need to be (this maybe through use but as I have only had the phone for about 5 months I can't see this being the case) and this leads to you having to push the button a few times in order for it to do the action once which is annoying more so if you ...

The price I paid for this phone was £29.99 on a pay as you go contract this probably puts the SonyEricssonT303 in the bargain phone category. With this in mind the SonyEricssonT303 is quite a good phone. It is small and light weight and looks good in its brushed silver case. It is slightly disappointing when it come to turning it on. The screen is small than you think and difficult to see in certain lights (in the sun). The buttons are difficult for big fingers to use. The onscreen graphics are basic at best although the applications are easy to find and use. The inbuilt camera is 1.3 megapixels. This doesn't provide the best picture you could ask for but does the job for little keep sake photos you want to keep on the phone.
