looks pretty snazzy. The Cigarette Lighter Adapter is a simple practical charger for in car use. It draws power from your cigarette lighter to charge your phone ensuring that you always have a fully charged battery when on the go. Also there is a port on the adapter which means you can connect a Portable Handsfree. This lets you can make calls even while your phone is charging... which is nice Key features Developed for 12V and 24V vehicles Extended car compatibility

***** Introduction *****
I bought the T310 about 6 months ago, having already got another Sony Ericsson handset, the T200. I had been impressed with the T200, but found the phone rather limited overall, and was therefore looking for something a little more in every sense. And, in this sense, the T310 was everything I had been hoping for - and more.
***** Advantages *****
To start with, the T310 has a lovely design. It is slightly wider than your average mobile phone, which makes up for its lacking depth. One thing you would not expect, as a result of this, is what it feels like to use. It, surprisingly, fits in the shape of the hand very well, something which encourages an ease of use.
As for the ringtones, there is a large selection, and there is even the capability to download others onto the phone. One advantage of Sony Ericsson phones is that the length of most ringtones is significantly greater than that of ringtones on many other phones, Nokias in particular (which always seem to cut off just as it's getting to the good bit!).
The joystick, a newer addition to many Sony Ericsson phones, proves worthwhile. Not only making the phone easier to use, but also making it much more enjoyable to use, the success of the joystick on the T310 made way for the same on the T610, its big brother.
The games are one of the best things about the phone. They make the most of the phone's cababilities, and are very enjoyable to play. In fact, the 256 colour screen serves to make the games look even more genuine and traditional, and you feel as if you are playing on a games console at times, not on a mobile phone. The joystick comes into life once more, and, although it makes gameplay easier and more fun, the keypad is there for those who prefer.
Sound quality is not something many people have come to expect from Sony Ericsson phones, and not something that many people would say is one of their strengths. The T310 proves these observations to be wrong, and provides excellent sound both in terms of ringtones and during phone calls. The sound is clear, and with very little background interference, many would argue that it is better sound quality than that of a landline, though this is open for discussion.
The phone has an impressive standby time in comparison with other Sony Ericssons to have been released in the last two years, and will last for up to 6 days, using the phone moderately with around 10-15 minutes usage each day (games, phone calls etc). However, this is sadly no match for many Nokias such as the 6210 and 6310(i).
On top of all this the phone provides a vast range of extra features, a small selection of which are as follows:
There are, quite obviously, many more, as you will find out if you purchase the phone. But if I were to go into detail with every one, it would take you days to read it all, so I have picked out the best.
1) A notebook function whereby you can store notes and reminders, and even use them as screensavers if you so wish, a refreshing new idea not seen on most current handsets.
2) Countdown timer (especially useful when cooking, it serves as a backup timer), Stopwatch, and Calculator. Though these three are standard on many phones, they surprisingly come in very useful and, if you keep your phone on you, save the time it would take to get the respective item.
3) Organiser - an excellent events organiser whereby you state the event and the time, and can then choose whether to have a reminder of the event. The good thing about this is that you can choose when to have the reminder, whether it be five minuted, ten, fifteen, or even an hour before the event to give you time to prepare. The alarm sound is distinctive and unique, much better than that on many other phones, and serves it's purpose well. It will rarely let you down if you use it properly.
4) A ringtone composer - in my opinion, streets ahead of that on Nokia phones, the ringtone composer is something I found not only fun to use, but also that is produced was a great sense of achievement when I heard back what I had recently composed. It takes a little getting used to, but, with practise, you can create some rather impressive tunes. When you are finished, you can save them, and, if you feel they are good enough, use them as your ringtones - I have found this a great way to impress friends, many of which did not believe at first that it was my very own work!!
There is also a shortcuts menu, for those who like to live life in the fast lane. It can be customised to include the things that you use most, and comes in useful when you are a little short of time, or are caught at a busy monent.
***** Disadvantages *****
It's colour screen is clear, but does not make way for very high quality images, due to its capacity to hold just 256 colours. Originally made as a gaming phone, it suffices needs, though is now possibly thought a little out of date; many newer, state of the art 3G handsets possessing 262,144 colour screens, a rather significant step up.
Also, the phone has been known to be rather slow on occasions, especially just after turning it on, when it takes a few seconds more than excpected to load up. Though a solution to this is to keep the phone switched on at all time, even during charging, which increases it's standby time.
The phone rather unfortunately has poor reception quality much of the time, meaning it can sometimes be hard to make calls from certain places, but this is made up for by the excellent sound quality the T310 possesses.
Being a Sony Ericsson, it has rather a dimished reputation in comparison to Nokias, a rather evident disadvantage, which is going to be the reason many people will not buy it, even though it has had some quite excellent reviews since its release.
***** Overview *****
Very few of this handset were actually made, making it a rare and desirable Sony Ericsson for those that know it actually exists. It's release date was unfortunate, being just a few months before speculation that there was another phone coming out from Sony Ericsson, with many of the same features, and more, including an integrated camera and much improved screen, which turned out to be the Sony Ericsson T610, an instant success worldwide, and one of the most popular camera phones of the last year. As a result of this, many people have almost forgotten about the T310, despite it being a lovely, useful phone throughout.
Advantages: Serious Gaming phone, latest technology Disadvantages: None - well no MP3

Advantages: Sound quality. Small, lightweight Disadvantages: Phone frequently dies when used in a car. Poor quality colour display. Camera picture quality extremely poor. Cheap case marks easily, cannot be replaced. Menus slow, user interface not as good as Nokia. Very poor construction
...twice in 3 months and Sony took 52 days to repair it the last time.
Physically, the T310 is smaller and lighter but its casing is not interchangeable, something which not only helps to keep a mobile looking good for longer but also helps absorb shocks from falls. I can't remember the number of times I have put my Nokia in a shirt pocket and bent down to pick something up..
Power cable clips rather than slides into unit that looks like an improvement ... ...navigate a menu on the Sony to enter a word or number on in the dictionary. Further, while you can add words to dictionary, you cannot administer the word list (to delete a foreign word you spelt incorrectly..) And when you come to send the message, the phone asks for a number rather than listing the names you have in your contact book- how many people remember phone numbers these days?
The unit (with software R3b003) has a voice recorder, which ...

Advantages: small, colour screen, nice ringtones, nice menu system Disadvantages: SOS CALLS ONLY! Slow startup time and lock option.
...from me. I also enjoy sony tech support. Hang around in a Q waiting to be cut off (3 times so far from a landline).
Im not going to lie with you, i believe this phone is more trouble than its worth in my experience but i dont like to declare stuff awful for everyone just because it is not right with me.
Additional infromation: I could draw better photorealistic images with a brick of charcoal on a stamp. Give the cam a miss and i mean that to everyone ... ...you buy this and are offered a cam cheap then ask the assistant how much he/she is going to offer you to take it.
Im sure this phone was understood as a mistake and thus the t610 was quicky released. My phone still seems like the canary before the miners and its only 4 months old! ...

Advantages: Sturdy and holds many text messages. Disadvantages: Slow, poor screen quality, poor battery
I must admit that the appeal of this phone was initially the camera. I bought the phone and was utterly dissappointed by the picture quality. It is not even worth using the phone as a useful camera.
There are various features that im not pleased with. The battery cover often slides off in tight pockets, and takes ages to switch on again. The battery charger, over time needs a wiggle to get going, I would have exepected it to work more efficently, ... ...case with anybody elses phone. The organiser isn't very efficiant, in the events diary there isn't enough free memory.
One of the main faults with the phone is the menu joystick, utterly frustrating when it fails to work on the fist 15 or so attemps.
There is a lack of games, the phone holds little entertainment value.
Complaints over, and ignoring any faults, it has been a reliable phone, it has had it's fair share of knocks yet still remains ...

Advantages: 2m pixels camera, mp3 plyaers, FM radio and also expandable memory Disadvantages: Not compatible with older SE chargers
...i have always been a sonyericsson phone fan, i have used T310, T630 in the past and now i got this as a birthday gift. And belive me it is by far the best phone from sonyericsson. It is feature packed with a 2m megapixels camera with auto focus and digital zoom, mp3 player, bluetooth and also a expandable memory. The screen resolution is excellent, the pictures are a bit grainy at times but that is only if u zoom in, and also i tends to hang in the stand by mode sometimes and also the menu system is a bit slow. But above all a good buy and then all the above shortcomings have being taken care of by sony by release a service pack of the firmware, which can be update for free from there site with the provided usb cable. The lastest version of firmware is R1l002 in which the camera is a bit better, the menu speed is faster and standby...

...Great little phone for the money! I got one of these when they were on offer at the carphone warehouse for just £59.99!
The phones software is very similar to the more expensive 6100, and i believe it is basically a cut down more trendy version of it!
The phone seems to be equivilent of the SonyEriccsonT310... but of a much higher quality! And with better games!
WAP is available on the phone, and it is GPRS enabled meaning high speeds! And paying for the amount of information downloaded rather than the time connected.
The front and back covers can be changed, although personally i liked the glow in the dark covers my phone came with!
Sending Text messages with this phone is extreemly simple as it uses predictive text. Normally predictive text really annoys me and i refuse to use it, however i find the nokia system very...

...I have been looking for a new phone for a few months now, after my Motorola T191 gave up the ghost. I took a look at the offerings from the Motorola end, since I know their phones generally to be of high quality. The V60 looked good, but I wanted to expand my horizons. The Samsung T100 was tempting, but too expensive. Then, I saw the Sagem MYX-5 and MYG-5. The SonyEricssonT310 looked good, but I wanted something a tad cheaper. While looking at Sagem websites, I stumbled across the MYX-2. It looked nice, was selling cheaply and had an excellent battery life. “Great,” I thought. As I looked for more info on the phone, I found there was none. I could not find one bit of advice. So I decided to be the one to provide that consumer advice. I went out and bought a Vodafone Sagem MYX-2 from Argos for £69.95, before writing this...
