...take it back. Lucky for Sony ericsson, I didn't buy this phone for it TV playback. Again though, the screen and fluid display rescues the 3G TV option. Reception: If I were a phone designer I would rate reception quality fairly high on a list of priorities for a PHONE. Sony ericsson, don't. Disadvantages: bad camera, no memory card slot, too quiet

...very good feature of this sony erricson phone and alows you to easily transfer data from the phone to the computer and vice versa. Overall this is a very good phone with its brilliant design for its time and easy to use interface. It does not have many downsides and to those who want a reliable phone but do not have the money to buy a brand new phone this would be the phone for you. ... Read review

...having seen or used a Sony Ericsson phone for many years I was not quite sure what to expect with this one. My last Sony Ericsson was well old and had very few features, not even a colour screen! ...currently waiting on help from Sony Ericsson which has taken a while (2 months at the last count). I think that the Camera, Video and MP3 player are great with good clarity and options to edit the pictures but you can only have a limited amount of memory and no memory card with this model so if you are looking for an MP3 player mobile I would get another model and the same goes for pictures and video. ... Disadvantages: Phone turning itself off

...I have always used Sony Ericsson phones and the W850i is good value for money and is the best phone I have had since my V600i . Overall It is a great phone with a large range of features and is relatively easy to use . The best features being the walkman with the 1GB memory stick as standard. The Camera also takes good quality pictures and I found it relatively easy to transfer from the phone to my computer with the cable and program included with the phone. The main downside is the phone turns itself off when using the Internet and certain functions which happens more often than I would expect. Finally one fun part of the phone was the face warp application which kept me amused for a few hours.... Read review

...I've owned a Nokia 8310 for nearly a year now and have found it to be one of the most reliable and dependable phones i've ever had. I've been through my fair share of phones, starting from the old nokia 5110, to the sony z5, motorola v50, nokia 3310, sony ericsson t68i and the new motorola v600, which i sold. But although you might think some of the other phones i mentioned are better because they may take pictures, or can make funny noises with their polyphonic ring tones, the Nokia 8310 soley as a phone rates highly. Firstly the size and weight of the phone make it desirable, and at the same time not being too small you cant see the buttons. Also you can change the covers of the phone to suit your taste. The features are excellent, you have everything you expect from a nokia, including a built in FM radio, wap browser... Read review

...Those of you that have looked at my reviews before will know that I like to review my mobiles. Well this time I thought I'd wait and see what one's like after a year - particularly as a lot of the mobile networks are now moving towards 18 month contracts - are the phones really up to it. The answer in the case of this phone is a resounding yes. I'm not going to go into reams of info about what the phone has and hasn't got, there are plenty of websites out there where you can get that info, but I will give you my opinion of what I think to the phone overall.
