Ok the major gripe is out of the way. Lets get into the nitty gritty.
The camera is Very poor (VGA- not even 1mp) so ... ...video its sort of been thrown into this phone as an after thought.
This phone is all about the music, the onboard memory is poor but again its got a memory card slot - they come with 256mb cards but these are soon replace with something a lot better i had a 2gb card in mine.
The sound quiity when playing music through the little speaker is good foe a phone, it has a little handle at the top which hold its slight off any surface you ... more

Why? well it keeps the speaker from being muffled and so giving you a lot better quality of music. Yes it does make a difference - even if it does look a little odd. The display screen is ok, maybe i have be spoiled buy using smart phones? The colours are bright enough and clear enough but its not going to take your breath away. Stand by time is amazing, i went for almost 2 weeks without having to charge my W300i once, true i barely used it but hey it lasted and lasted. Call quality and reception, hmmm the recption im going to say is average-poor. my other phones all pick up better signal when im at home (on orange network). There is no major gripe with reception but it never seems to be perfect. Sound quality when having a conversation is ok-ish, The ear piece speaker is very tinny and does not seem to ever be loud enough. but you can hold a conversation clearly enough. The menus are fairly standard to other phones. There are better Walkman phones out there. At best this phone is average. maybe good for a son or daughter who are into there music, and you do not wanna spend too much on a fancy walkman phone. Opps another plus side - its almost indestructable lol i have dropped mine from over 95ft while climbing to find it was fine - small chip in the plastic but thats it! maybe a phone for the clumsy music lover.

I bought this as my second phone and was very pleased with the results of my purchase, a decent sized memory card allows for plenty of music to be stored. In my case the music is used to back up my ipod incase the battery runs out and it works like a charm. Also there are a lot of big memory cards which can also be added for relatively low costs. The only problem with these is that they can slow the phone down when loading large quantities of music ... ...are a bit wierd for some peoples taste, i personally think theyre fine. Its quite small but there is still a fairly big screen and the buttons arent fiddly and difficult to use.
The camera is fairly good quality considering that it isnt a camera based phone although newer phones do have better quality cameras, as you would expect, all infra-red and bluetooth connectivity works well and i have never had any problems with the radio, its better than ...

Ive had this phone for just over a year now and love it. Never had any problems with it at all.
Its got everything you want, good camera, colour screen, internet, games, an organiser, bluetooth, music, everything. Plus its a Walkman phone so its just like having media player or an mp3 player in your phone, and its comes with really nice headphones. Also i have been able to listen to the radio as the headphones act as a antenna. It is very strong, ... ...not even a scratch.
It came with a USB connecter so i transfer my pictures from my phone onto my laptop which is really uselful. One thing i like about this phone is that when the battery is low, it will charge itself, it does only do this by a few percent but it does keep it running. Of course it does come with a charger which plugs into the mains.
I havent had any problems at all with the phone and im really glad i bought it, it only cost me ...

First impressions are deceiving. It looks as if its heavy but when you pick it up, its actually very light. Its mainly black with silver trimmings and the famous "Walkman" logo on the front although it does come in White as well as the colour shown.
The front LCD is orange on black (monochrome) and will show you the signal strength, battery power, time, date and network. When in idle state you can either have it as a blank screen or have the "sleep mode "clock. At the touch of a button on the side of the phone with it shut reveals all the above.
