    Advantages Advantages Small and neat

Disadvantages Disadvantages Generally rubbish in most respects.

I have been using this phone for some time now and find it relatively passable as a very basic phone. It is a very very stange phone in some ways (as though were designed by a team of visually impaired troglodytes suffering from an undisclosed yet debilitating brain ailment) and has some particularly annoying shortcomings. On the plus side is its size, which is the main reason I bought it, the phone is small light and durable and fits in the smallest of pockets, without turning into a bother. Its screen is all good and generally not susceptible to scratching and so remains quite presentable ... more

    Advantages Advantages Good-looking, stylish design

Disadvantages Disadvantages Poor video recording quality

When I decided to buy a new mobile phone there were 4 characteristics that I was looking for (in addition to it being a good phone, with good reception, that doesn't drop calls, etc): - Candy bar style (I much prefer it to the slide and flip types). - At least a 2MP camera. I already have a digital camera, so all I need from my phone is the ability to take some reasonable quick photos. - Good music player, radio. - Inexpensive. My mobile phones never last very long, for various reasons, so I realised it would be unwise to spend a large amount of money on what is likely to be a short-term ... more

    Advantages Advantages The camera.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Software crashes, poor interface design, text size, lack of proper ringtones, can't download stuff

I brought this phone thinking that for the price it would be a good bet. Having used this brand before, I was sorely disappointed with its overall performance after a couple of months use. Now, the phone itself cost me £59 (from Orange) back in April 2009. When it arrived I was pleased with how compact and lightweight it was. Then I turned it on to discover what else it contained... On first glance, the menu is well laid out in the same way other Sony Ericsson mobiles are. Everything ok there then. I tried to set up a ringtone for my phone. This mobile comes with no basic ringtone and I have ... more

    User doesn't recommend the product

Advantages Advantages Slim and slick, with a good variety of features

Disadvantages Disadvantages Tiny keypad buttons, poorly implemented features and annoying load times between menus

If like me you have used the slightly higher-end Sony Ericsson phones, such as the K750i or W810i, I wouldn't recommend picking this up. The phone has many appealing features, but not all of them are implemented particularly well; e.g. the namesake Walkman player is, amazingly, quite underwhelming with a very low volume no matter how high you set the equalizer, and even with in-earphones the music was easily drowned out on the bus; plus navigating the player is a bit of a nightmare and there is no quick pause button like on the W810i etc. The 2.0 Megapixel camera has no flash also, probably to ... more

The phone is absolutely amazing! i love it! it is a quality phone. like all sony ericsons there are many things to do on it like fun games. The bluetooth is also very good. And let's not forget about the walkman feature. most of them come with a 2GB free card which can hold around 660 tunes. Also the sound quality is very good. The look and feel of it is awesome! i like the urban kind of look of it. and it feels great! It is extremely light and the grpahics are very good aswell. The battery life is ectremely good. i have had my phone on for a very long time now without having to chrage it! it ... more
