'Sony Ericsson W595' 'Basic Idea' ********* Sony Ericsson walkman series phones are most popular due to its excellent sound quality with controlled equalizer system and a feature which is lifeline of walkman series and that is Mega bass. I also enjoyed a lot with its mega bass facility and it provides excellent theatrical experience of music. There are some problems with charger and headphone sockets in walkman series and I think this problem persists in most of the walkman series phones. I also had this problem and given my phone to service center and it got repaired but after sometimes problem occurred again but I got my warranty period expired and there is no way for free service, now I have to lose some money from my pocket for service. But this problem occurs after more than
6 months, new phone treat well and we can get excellent sound quality with walkman series phones. So forget it for sometimes and go for walkman phones which can give you a good value for money and if you are a music lover that walkman series phones are best solution for you. There are a competitor phones from Nokia and Samsung also, but the xpress series phones from Nokia are not such good in sound quality. Nokia phones are more trustworthy due to its excellent quality product. They hardly need service because there are very less kind of problems occurring in Nokia phones. And other good feature in Nokia phones is their battery back-up, many phones have a good battery back-u and lower budget level phones have even better capacity batteries. 'The phone' ********* Now here I am going to discuss about Sony Ericsson W595, and of course I use to review walkman series phones from Sony Ericsson always. I will keep some good points of this phone with its advantages and some disadvantages also.
'Design and look' ************* Phone has an attractive sliding design with measurement 100 x 47 x 14 mm, and here is good point is it has comparatively thinner design. We can't say it a slim design phone but it in trance to slim category phone. Weight of phone is about 104 grams and it is average weight. Now if we take a look on its display size than it has good TFT display with 240 x 320 pixels, 2.2 inches size screen and resolution is about 256K color. There are nothing special with its screen size and resolution it is common with compare to many other phones.
'Memory features' ************** Now the important feature I am going to discuss is about memory features and this phone has a 40 MB shared internal memory for contacts, JAVA applications and data storage. Phone also supports Memory Stick Micro (M2), and Sony Ericsson provided 2 GB card, included in its accessory. Now if we think about the memory than there is nothing to discuss about it, because it has a good memory capacity with 2 GB card included and there is a card slot where you can expand your memory as per your requirements.
'Connectivity feature' ***************** Now the next important features I need to discuss here is all about connectivity, and this phone has all important connectivity features but the bad point is that this phone doesn't have WLAN connectivity. WLAN means Wi-Fi feature which becomes more popular now a days and of-course we require it in mobile phones. Other connectivity features those are available in this phone, like GPRS Class 10, 32 - 48 kbps, HSCSD, EDGE Class 10, 236.8 kbps, Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP, USB v2.0 and the last important feature is 3G. There are no means with without 3G phones. Today this technology got more and more improvements and it becomes essential for any mobile users. 3G is a high speed data transfer technology where we can use broadband internet in our mobile phone and we need not to have any broadband line for internet. So it becomes more popular technology for portable internet users.
'About the camera' *************** Other important thing about this phone is its 3.2 megapixel camera and Sony phones are also popular due to its good quality cameras. This camera doesn't have autofocus and flash but overall it provides good shot.
'Some other features' The more important feature and lifeline of this phone is its walkman player with excellent sound quality. Phone also has a Stereo FM radio with RDS. So in terms of music features it is a perfect phone. Phone has a good capacity battery with more than five hours of talktime and playback time. So go for walkman phones and fill some great music experience in your like.
