The Sony Ericsson W880i is kind of a mixed bag. First of all, the look is definitely striking, but you either find it beautiful or you will consider it ugly. It's slim, but very well built. Due to its size it may seem fragile, but actually it is a very resistant phone. Similarly slim phones from Motorola or Samsung are fragile, but the W880i impressed me. I have had the phone for over a year. Very good, stylish phone, brilliant sound quality. I have used the phone camera to take some brilliant quality pictures. Ultra slim design fits perfectly in pocket! I have all my fav music on mine! holds about 800 text messages, hundreds of pictures and songs. defiantly 10/10.

...My last two phones have been Sony Ericsson's which I was very impressed with. Good sound quality, excellent music player, the camera is sufficient to make me leave my digital camera at home. The only problem was I found them to be a bit bulky. The first thing you'll notice with this one is just how slim it is, but obviously that means there has to be some compromise. As this is a walkman rather than cybershot phone, don't expect the camera to be the best feature. It is adequate, but it looks like the size has been reduced by dropping camera features mainly. I found it annoying that there is no radio, but I guess I can live without it when I have the best part of a GB of music to listen to. ...I read a review of this phone myself and thought i better check it out. My god. It is so cool, i bought this phone purely for the cool factor. Saying this though, when i buy a phone i normally think i'm going to use all the features but never end up using them. This time is no change but not down to the phone, that's my fault. I would agree the camera is pretty rubbish but all other applications are great, really enjoy the feel of it and the ease of use. I've used the music player a few times and found it easy to use and transfer music to. I do love this phone, it is quite difficult to text but that's saved on my phone bills. If you like the look of it just buy it, don't worry about anything else.... Read review

...I have owned this phone for a year now and to put it franklyi cant wait til my upgrade comes through. this phone was good last year but in my opinion should stay in last year. there is not anyhing exciting happening with the phone and compared to the market today its is just no where near the top. The camera is something ot of of a 1980's film. i also managed to bend my phone so it looked like a banana. The oly positive out of this phone is the ease of the menu system and te walkman which is really easy an nice to use. this is not the best phone out there and if i could go back a year i would have chosen the nokia n95 without a doubt....
