Sony Ericsson W880i Walkman

Advantages: Slim, Small, mp3 Player, 3G, Very Stylish
Disadvantages: Small Buttons, Speakers, Problematic Battery?

This is the first Sony Ericsson phone I have owned and being so used to the Nokia layouts, menus and functions I was worried that I will need to spend hours learning the shortcuts, menus, functions and what have you. However, I needn't have worried. The W880i is just as easy to use as the Nokias. The menus are easy to navigate and the functions are pretty much the same as any other phone. So saying that, why is this W880i such a great phone? Well ...
...acts as a portable mp3 player as well. Great for all the music lovers out there. The phone itself has 14MB memory and thrown in is an extra 1GB external memory card. It suggests that with this amount of memory, it can store up to 900 tracks. More than ample enough memory for tunes and other stuff such as pictures and videos of nights out etc. The phone itself is stylish, slim and very light. ...the latest handset from the Sony Ericsson Walkman range. I'll try and not waffle on too much about the exact spec of the phone, you can find that elsewhere. But I'll tell you from a users point of view what is good, and what really isn't. It is very light, very small, and for the first time ever I have a 3G phone that fits in my pocket without ripping the seams! I like the design. Quite simply - its nice! THE MUSIC The upside... ...,and also fantastic on the Sony Ericsson speakers i got with the SE V630i (how fortunate!!). But with pretty much no audible bass - even with the equilizer set to MegaBass - the sound is barely recognisable as a song! Also, this poor excuse for a Walkman phone has no FM radio unlike the rest of the Walkman range. Doesnt bother me personally as I dont like the radio much anyway. I love this phone so much. I have been using it for 2months, it works really well. It is only about 1 cm think, this is really convinience of use. the MP3 player helps me can listen to musincs on the airplane, because it does not need to switch on the mobile. The only disadvantage is the digital camera does not as good as sony's other phones, the photo is not that clear, and also there is no light when I want to make photos. But to overview it, it is a very nice phone with a resonable price. I love it!
