Advantages A nice design

Disadvantages The phone turns itself off, poor battery life. Casing comes off a lot

I got this Sony Ericsson W890i phone on contract and I haven't been happier to get rid of it!
I've always been a fan of Sony Ericssons until I had this phone....

To start with, I was pretty pleased with the phone when I first got it. I loved the design, the feel of the phone and it didn't take any getting used to as it holds the same layout to every Sony Ericsson phone.

Design; ....
This phone is available in three different colours, silver, brown and black. It's the brown I was given and I was pleased with the casing and durability of it.
The casing doesn't easily scratch however many times it's dropped!
I've found with other mobiles the phone looks dated after a few months of carrying it around with you! I had this phone for over a year and by the time it broke it still looked almost new!

I found this phone very easy to use, as it is a Sony Ericsson phone which holds the layout and settings to every other S E, I already knew the basics of the phone. Although I found it quite easy to get a hold of every new aspect!

The phone has a unique design; it's very slim making it easy to fit into your jeans pocket and your tiny handbags! Because it's quite slim, it's also light and easy to hold. I liked the shape of this phone as I like to feel I can hold on firm to my mobile when I'm out and about.
The buttons on the phone are quite small and I struggled to work it a lot of the time. This phone definitely isn't suitable for the 'sausage finger' type people! The keypad buttons are firm and easy to press although their size makes texting annoying and frustrating!

The power button is found on the top of the phone and is also very tiny! I couldn't even find it when I first had this phone! The size of the power button could make it difficult for some people to use however it also means it's harder for your mobile to accidentally get caught in your bag/pocket and turn itself off!
As well as the power button, the other buttons found on the outside of the phone are also very small! Although this is expected due to the slim design.

The screen size is reasonable and I didn't find any problems with it, perhaps it could have been improved by increasing the button sizes and decreasing the screen size!
The screen quality is clear, I didn't have any problems with the quality of the screen.
The screen specifications are; ....
262,144 colour TFT,
240x320 pixel

Memory; ....
I got a memory card free with this phone so I found the memory capacity to be very good. It supported any images and music I had saved to my phone.
There is the option to update the memory card in the phone to suit a larger capacity if needed.

Bluetooth is available on this phone making sharing images and music easier. The Bluetooth is easy to find and easy to use. I didn't have any problems with the speed of the Bluetooth when using this phone.

This phone is a walkman phone, meaning it's great for storing music and using music from the phone! The songs get saved in an easy to use layout giving you the option to search for various artists through the list of songs you have on your phone.

Agree with you on the switching off. It started doing it to mine a few months before I upgraded. Very good review.
