...provider, I opted for the Sony Ericsson W910i walkman mobile phone. I have owned several Sony Ericsson phones over the past few years, and have become quite a big fan of their phones. My tariff is reasonably low, so I wasn't eligible for a top of the range model without having to pay something towards it, so the W910i seemed the better choice of an average range of free phones I was offered.
For pure looks, the W910i is a joy to look at, and in ... ...joystick control on my previous Sony Ericsson phone. The call answer & cancel buttons are also displayed on the face, and the walkman controls are smartly placed both on the front and on the side on the phone, making use of the walkman extremely easy. The phone slides smoothly and elegantly with a puch of a thumb, to uncover the number pad, that has large, well spaced keys. The phone has a large, bright, 240 x 320 pixel, high-resolution display, ...

...models, I settled on the Sony Ericsson W910i in Havanna Gold. I chose the gold model because it's more unique - I do really like the other colours, but Havanna Gold has a nice sophisticated edge to it. I ordered the phone from Vodafone and it came the next day. In the box was a connection USB lead, memory stick, battery, instructions, sim, charger and the phone itself. Getting the sim card into the phone was probably the hardest part! 3G HSPDA Technology
Quad Band Technology
Walkman Music Player
Shake Control

The camera when using it looks much better than a 2MP I reckon it might be 3.2MP but the phone states its only 2MP. Advantages: big music space, amazing camera Disadvantages: lots! freezing, poor assembling, bad signal.
I got the sony erricsson w910i when i got a new contract and it was Free with loads of texts and phone calls thrown in to the package. I am on 3 and find the network coverage not that great. However, the phone is also not quite up to standards as it breaks on a regular occasion, nothing major but enough to make you really stressed on your way to work! Mine has frozen quite a lot and i have had to take the battery out and put it back in as it has ... ...few of my friends have the same phone and theirs has been worse as they have dropped theirs. The freezing is frequent and the buttons sometimes wont work or have even cracked from poor assembling. Unless you get this phone cheap and could take it back if it breaks for repairs to the shop you bought it from such as 3 or 02, i really dont reccomend this phone. If you can take it back, its a good phone in itself, such as the large space for music, amazing ...

I upgraded from the Sony Ericsson Z610i to the W910i in May this year, and I really like it. I got it through the dolphin pay monthly plan on Orange. It's stylish, thin, and easy to use. What more could you want?

i've owned my handset for about two months now and i love this this mobile phone as it good looking, light and a really slim slide up phone which is what i like in phones. i do have a w810i which i thought was great but this phone is ten times better.i paid two hundred pounds for mine and i have never paid that much for a phone before but it is well worth it's money. it has loads of features which include 2-megapixel camera with 2.5 digital zoom which i like because i like to take photo's and record videos a lot, it as bluetooth which comes with most mobile phones these days so it's great for sending and recieving media.with my handset it has the Memory Stick Micro™ (M2™) support which i have the 4gb memory stick in it which is really great for storing all of my pics, videos and mp3's on...

...Once again it was time for me to change phones as my Samsung has finally decided to stop working. But this time I wanted a phone which was better battery life, better memory and light in colour. I was fed up with my wee black phone.
Now the frantic search had began and I knew that I wanted another slide phone at this time I was not sure if I wanted a contract phone or a pay as you go. I wanted to be connected to the orange network and I wanted it to hold lots of music.
With that in mind I starting looking on Ebay, Argos, Carephone warehouse and Orange.co.uk within a few minutes I have noticed that the Sony EricssonW range seem to offer what I was looking for. W means the walkman range.
That's it I have decided on the Sony EricssonW910i Model on the orange network.

Advantages: Very Stylish, Innovative Shake Music Control, Good Range of features Disadvantages: Camera Quality Average, Battery Life could be Better, No Built In Headphone Jack
...I've owned the W910iSony EricssonWalkman phone (Havana Gold) for nearly a month. It is a very impressive phone, with all the standard requirements for a modern phone built in, with some interesting features and a few flaws.
In the Box -
W910i SE Walkman Mobile Phone
UK Socket Charger
USB Cable
In-Earphone w/ handsfree wire
Quickstart Guide + Manual
Sony Ericsson Software Suite
Sony Card reader
1GB M2 card (May vary with supplier)
At first it was a little tedious getting the battery and SIM card in and out of the phone, I have to use the end of a staple to lift the battery out whenever I need to remove the SIM, but it's not a large problem.
Out of the box the most eye-catching part of the phone is probably the large screen on the front. It is bright, clear with a 240x320 resolution screen. Although very crisp and clear...
