I have had my Sony Neo V for 3 months now. I am a huge mobile phone fan and have gone through many brands of mobile phones. Before the Neo V i was on an Iphone 3gs. T o move from what is considered by many to be a really good phone to the Sony Neo V was easy.
In fact i find the Neo V an all round better phone then any other i have used. Straight out the box this mobile looks really pleasing to the eye. A nice gloss black with the sides being metallic silver. Turning it on is easy, with the power button on the side of the phone. Also the volume controls are located at the side just below the power button which helps for ease of use as when you have this in your hand you can just use a finger easily to turn the volume to suit your needs.
The front of the Neo V is full of features. Front facing VGA camera, video chat (Google, Skype) and a lovely screen. The screen is really good. Sharp, bright and vivid with an LED-backlit LCD, capacitive touchscreen, 16M colours. When viewing pictures they are amazing, with great detail.
Despite the mega pixels not being as big as other phones(5 MP) in this class i find this is still amazing for taking pictures and i now use this as my main camera. If you have a 3D television you can take pictures in 3D and connect the Neo V to the TV and view them in 3D. Also connecting to any TV with an HDMI port is easy. You can view whatever you are doing at that time. I sometimes surf the net on my TV via my HDMI connect Neo V.
Also apps and games can be done via the HDMI connection. Only one thing that lets this mobile phone down is the battery. It really sucks. Even when not using all the gizmo's it has to offer, it drains after a normal day of texting, music playing and the odd bit of surfing the net. I find this a slight drawback as it does not take a long time to charger.
