I have never liked a phone as much as my much-loved Sony Ericsson Cedar, and I would not have gone for an upgrade if it wasn't entirely necessary. So when my 13 month old daughter spilled a cup of... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Had a nasty restart problem that I had to work hard to fix myself

This review is not only a review of the device itself, but a chronicling of my good days and bad days with this phone. It has made me love it and hate it in the period of time that I have owned it, and for some reason I am still using it despite all of the stress it has put me through. The Sony Ericsson X10 Xperia is Sony Ericsson's first venture into the world of Android based mobile handsets. It is the flagship model of its line, the others being the X10 Xperia Mini and the X10 Xperia Mini Pro (both rubbish if I might bravely add). This is the big brother of the lot and it shows, boasting a ... more

Advantages Advantages It's pretty, decent for calls and texts

Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery life is horrendous, internet isnt great, laggy as hell

Why do I even have a smart phone? Phones are a pain in the backside. I always remember Stephen Fry saying something about phones that struck me as true to the core. A phone is intrusive and horrible, you’d not put up with a friend standing saying ‘SPEAK TO ME, SPEAK TO ME, SPEAK TO ME’ till you dropped what you were doing, so why do we allow phones to get away with it? I’m pretty certain this feeling came about with the advent of mobile phones as before them, I’d run to pick up the phone with a feeling of excitement. Now I see them as a curled wire around my neck, constantly with me. Throw in ... more

I have never liked a phone as much as my much-loved Sony Ericsson Cedar, and I would not have gone for an upgrade if it wasn't entirely necessary. So when my 13 month old daughter spilled a cup of juice all over my Cedar and it wouldn't switch on again, I was mortified, especially because I relied heavily on the calendar in it to tell me whether I was coming or going. So when I got to the o2 shop, I first asked for a replacement of my Cedar phone. They said that I was overdue for an upgrade but that my old phone was not in the offer. I therefore had to choose a new phone. I won't go into how I ... more

Advantages Advantages A modern phone with great apps

Disadvantages Disadvantages The battery life and the size.

Personal Account I owned this phone for about two weeks before giving it to my mother because I was getting bored of touch screen phones. After a few months with this phone my mother was starting to get extremely frustrated. After being told that she couldn't update any of the software on the phone she began to worry that she was being told lies by the phone company. She has to charge the phone up every day and sometimes even twice a day which isn't good as she works for most of it. She can rely on the phone to always work when you need it either which isn't good as she uses it a lot. When my ... more

The last 2 phones I have had were Sony Ericsson Walkman Phones, I had those as I thought it would be beneficial to have a phone and an mp3 player in one then I decided I didn't really need a contract anymore and went to pay and go. A good few months later I found out I was pregnant and decided that I needed a better phone as my W910i had finally given up the ghost after 2 years. I went back onto a contract phone and had a decision to make, i phone, vivaz or the Xperia X10 and I picked the Xperia X10 mainly because it seemed to have all that the iphone did and more. *~*What's in the box*~* I ... more
