Advantages: Quite easy to use, you dont need to be extremly tecnological to use this product Disadvantages: you have to read the instructions in depth if you are not a very technological person
...This is a really great product, quite compact and very easy and convinient to use, exspecially for those individuals who are not so good with technology like me!!!! It is also very easy to carry around with you, another great SONY product to add to their collection!!! The image is very clear and precise and can be adjusted using the easy to use controls/buttons. I would suggest that this product is more suitable for those with some techological sense, however this does not need to be outstanding as the instructions that come with this particular product are quite easy to use and read, and explain in quite some depth the products facilities and usage. This product is great for every day use or taking those videos for keeping those special memories....

...Well it hasn't taken Sony long to bypass all the competition and come out on top. I love this camcorder! I have no real technological abilities but I feel like an amateur film maker it's so advanced. Though maybe that's because it's a semi-professional camcorder. The picture is sharp and clear on its widescreen screen due to the High Definition. It's palm sized body is more like using a camera. I like a good macro on my camera's and this is good enough for me ! I've almost made my camera extinct! More importantly, it's easy to use despite it's quality. It's very good value for money and I'm glad I paid that little bit extra to be 100% happy with my purchase....

I recently bought this camcorder from Ebay for £440.00. The model that I have is the American model but all the SR5s are universal and you can simply change it to PAL mode in the menu. I been very impressed so far and would certainly recommend this... more
