This one is a complete pack...it has a lovely sound....you have 5 Speakers and 1 Woofer.....and you know they operate in Multiple modes ....Some of them are : Rock Jazz Multi Dimensional Pro Logic PLHI Movie PLH MUSIC and many more.... Just turn on the Multi Dimensional Mode and then you feel wahta actually you mean by a 5.1 Channel Recording....its amazing..... ...an era where the technology specifications are out performing the human abilities, so my feeling is that this is more than adequate for the home user. If you do not want floor standing speakers, then check out the HT-SS1100, which is the exact same AMP but with satelites. Personnally i think that the floor speakers look more stylish and can be wall mounted if required.... Read review

Advantages: Cheap, Powerful, Accepts lots of different Medias
Disadvantages: Distorts on MP3s at higher volumes, no Optical, No speaker stands

...Well a 5.1 system for £99.99, there must be something wrong with it I hear you say?! So far this has been an excellent system for me and brings my DVDs to life. It DOES do the following (Contrary to what is said in the description) -Mp3 Playback -Dolby Digital -DTS -DVD-R +/- -Kodak Picture CD -Prologic I -Front RCA Inputs(Very Useful) -150W RMS (Not 100W as the Description says on this site :p ) The front RCA Inputs are great for games consoles and other peripherals that arent going to be connected long, it means no fiddling round the back of the system. The only downside is there's no cover on them so they not hidden. The mirror finish on the front makes it look very stylish, like some of the Sony systems. Everything can be done from the remote control and yet its not a overwhelming sea of buttons. Overall, I like this system... Read review
