InfoLithium ... ...The camera has a 560x digital zoom which means you really can see a gnats whotsits from a mile away.
It also has steady shot facility(for those of us with shaky hands).
It has a night vision mode so you can film in total darkness, as well as a very bright .nightshot light.

A 2.5 LCD Screen The camera has a 560x digital zoom which means you really can see a gnats whotsits from a mile away. It also has steady shot facility(for those of us with shaky hands). It has a night vision mode so you can film in total darkness, as well as a very bright .nightshot light. The amount of extras on this camera are to numerous to list as it would probably make for a boring op,But I must point out that the battery when fully charged (takes 1 hour) will last for 2 hours of continuous use. I found it much easier to just try the camera out and only use the manual when I needed to.

The CCD-TRV 408 represents Sony's most sophisticated range of domestic analog camcorders. The high-end CCD-TRV408 integrates a ¼" CCD as well as Steady Shot. This model also features a proprietary Easy Dubbing feature, which has been developed by Sony to provide easy and accurate editing facilities on any brand of VCR without an LANC cable. With this neat feature, users can copy video footage scene by scene using the camcorder to control the system. The two pieces of equipment communicate by pre-subscribed infrared codes to synchronize recording. The Sony Hi8 Series carries a number of codes relating to different VCR manufacturers VCR products and allows them to pair up with a wide range of VCR models, not just Sony.
