this is a lovely little camera. its lightweight so easy to carry and hold up while recording for long periods of time. the LCD screen can rotate so the camera can be held high up and the screen tilted down so it can still be seen. the night mode feature is fantastic as it lets you capture what is going on even in dark conditions. it as a anti shake feature so if you haven't got a steady arm it wont stop you recording without the camera flying all over. it is really easy to use with the record button in 2 places, one near the strap so you can press it woth your thumb whilst holding it and the other on the side of the LCD screen so can be controlled with your left hand. the LCD screen is also touch screen and is easy to navigate so you can quickly change settings without missing the things you want to record! I would advise to buy an extra battery as the battery life is quite poor so always best to have a spare.

I was planning to buy Handycam. but the same confusion which one to buy. i was thinking to buy the best camera having all feature with in my budget- human mentality. Nothing else. so i googled on net and stores for the Companies and models of handycam .... and finally i got the right one and i deceided to buy this. It is almost 6 month and i am using it like any thing best quality on moovies and with good resolution.
I will prefer every one to buy ...

I own this digital cam and think it is great compared to having the old style disc one.
It is easy to use and handle and you can edit your own filming on it with your dvd recorder.
It also takes still pictures with a pro duo memory stick.

So easy to use. Sony make a product which is clear and logical, hard working and well built. Body is very hardwearing. The colour of silver is very attractive and the bag it comes witha is anice shade of black but well sticthed and non marking - it is also waterproof - very handy if you take it like we did to jamaica and get stuck in torrential Rain!! Battery gives ta least 3 hours use and charge in an hour - extra batteries only £15 which I think ...

This Camera is rubbish compared to the TRV!
Focus is not sharp. Sony agent said this was the best to expect.

This camcorder is expansive but you will ge a sharp image and you will full enjoy a high level in picture quality, for the lens are made by Carl Zeiss, a well reputated lenses firm.
This is the classical camcorder you may use with one hand for it is very handable. The functionality is realible and managing settings is quite easy.
You may make a good quality video when there is enough daylight, but, also in dark conditions in the evening or indoor, ...
