Recording quality - the quality is crisp no blur, no de pixeling and the auto focus is as quick as a snap and the pictures when you take them are as quick as a snap and with the picture finder you can easily find them on your DV tape no complaints there and if you need to you can alter all the brightness settings and so on but the auto normally takes care of that a treat.
Picture Quality - as mentioned above immense as clear as you actually being there and it records the sound with the pictures which is good sometimes but you can easily extract the sounds from it by disabling it on the camera or using the software you get with it so no complaints here.
Sound Quality - the sound is good nice and clear you can hear it loud and clear once again very good you could hear a pin drop
Value For Money - well to be hounest i dont know how much but i got mine for christmas but i just looked on amazon and there going for about £295 so a very good value you money for a top of the range camera.

Softwa re - just some picture editing softwae and video editing it comes in handy sometimes but firewire is the best way to get the best quailty from camera to computer but i like the fact you can go from camera straight to DVD with one click DVD this is on the camera in the menu (i forgot how to do it read the manual if you purchase this item) but you can use usb just not as good
Manual - the manual is great easy, quick and simple tells you all you need to know in like 10mins to be honuest you dont really need it unless your unsure but the basic features are easy to figure out yourself
Playback - the playback is the immense bit you can play it through your The Camera itself, TV, PC and DVD player (it comes out best on the TV) i would say cause then you get bigger screen and louder sound and very good if you have a HD tele
The Look and Portability - The look is Sleek and stylish a beatuifull peice of equipment and so light and portable i love it
Battery - 3 hours recording and like 4 hours playback i discovered i would upgrade to the lithum one (can be found on amazon) if your on holiday cause no time to stop and recharge speacilaly if your pout for the whole day lithum details underneath

i own this product and i have enjoyed it verry much. i like how it is small and maneuverable, and it has night vision. that comes in handy alot! the picture quality is good for a home video quality. the only problem i have is when i try to upload clips on the computer, the quality is not too good. maybe its my computer maybe its the camera but thats the only thing. it is durable. i have dropped mine many of times and it still works like a charm. ...

Advantages: Ease of user, lightweight Disadvantages: difficult to get working with home pc
I bought this camera on holiday with and what a joy it is, the picture is crisp with no blurrednes or any picture degradation.
Night shot is a very cool feature which lets you record at night time.
In all a very compact lightweight eqsy to us camera. Perfect for the person who does not have a lot of time to fiddle with settings and spend 3 - 4 hours setting the camera up.
This one is just a simple point and shoot.

Advantages: lightweight easy to use touchscreen lcd panel Disadvantages: battery life could be longer
I got one of these cams for christmas ,didnt know much about them , but it didnt take long to learn i like the touch screen panel and the fact that it is lightweight it can be used as a digital camera it has 2.5 lcd panel which can swivel which enables uto watch play back it also came with a remote control which was handy also comes with cable to link the cam to the computer which allows to transfer recording to dvd .i am not going to compare it ...

Advantages: It has a self timer which will allow you to take a picture even if you are on your own. Just time it and leave it on a support and smile as you will get your picture taken Disadvantages: The chargeable batteries do not last and nowadays we have more megapixels on the market
This is a very interesting as it has most of the features someone would want to have a camcorder to have..the self timer, microphone to name a few.
But with camcoders as well as most of the electrical goods, the competition is tight that you need to watch the market trends.. Nowadays, camcoders with 8 to 10 megapixels are on the market which makes the picture clearer.. and this one is with 400Kpix. So it's really up to the customers to check whether ...
