Sony Handycam

Advantages: Great Features, Easy to use, Sony product - well priced and quality, Durable
Disadvantages: None

. The battery would have a lot of power on it but it would still turn off. I expect this Handycam to be in the family for a long time to come. I think it will last for many years because it is well made and technicaly superb. *Range/Quality of Features* This Sony Handycam does have a large number of different features and functions that it can perform. This is another positive about the camera which made my Dad purchase it in the first place. The camera has a Digital Zoom capability of 120x. This allows the user to get really close up shots of objects in the distance. This Handycam can double up as a Webcam for your PC. This is quite a good feature to have, because it saves you a few quid not having to buy your own Webcam. The Viewfinder, or screen for some people, is high quality. It is an LCD monitor which gives you really clear images ...

Sony Handycam DCR DVD202E - a beauty

Advantages: Watch playback instantly
Disadvantages: Price of Rewritable DVDs - well worth it though

on the Rewritable DVDs. For a while now sony have teamed up with Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar to supply their lenses. I have had numerous sony camera's and there clear shots and focusing abilities have never let me down yet. The view finder is 2.7" which is easily big enough with 123200 pixels so you can instantly see quality pictures. The camera comes with shoulder strap and required cables for plugging into the computer and the T.V. I have been lead to believe that the software in these packages changes from month to month. However the Imagemixer that I got with this camera enables me to edit as much and as often to a high standard whenever I like. ~#Cost and Usability#~ The Camera cost £570 at the time I purchased it however I am sure that now it is available cheaper. Even at this price though I would still thoroughly recommend this ...

Sony Handycam DCR TRV285E

Advantages: good quality pictures, small, stylish, remote control
Disadvantages: Only 90 mins battery life, can be confusing connecting to PC

The Sony Handycam DCR TRV285E is a great camera for first time users. This camera can easily be operated without even having to read the instruction manual. It has the "Easy Handycam" feature which sets the camera settings automatically. The camera is light and easy to use. When recording there is a zoom function, the ability to have a title for the movie and various faders for opening and closing shots. The camera has a nightvision mode which uses infrared and gives you an eeirie green appearance to everything which is actually quite handy, or if filming in dull locations there is a handy light on the front of the camera. The camera can also be used to take still shots with a simple press of a button, this means you don't need to carry your normal camera as well. The camera comes with a remote control which allows you to control ...
