Advantages Advantages Nice, Easy To Use/ Picture Quality

Disadvantages Disadvantages Accompaning Software Is An Hassle/ Battery Life Is Minimal

We have had only two or three camcorders over the years, and one of them is this one here. The Sony Handycam DCR TRV340 is a digital 8' camcorder which sports 8mm/Hi8 playback. It also has the cabability of memory stick recording. The camcorder arrives packaged nicely in its box and is accompanied with a manual to help you explore and understand the new product. The manual is clearly labelled and illustrated and proves easy to follow. Oh, let's not forget the remote control that also comes with it! Advantages Advantages night and supernight shot upto 10 hours of use from one battery

Disadvantages Disadvantages bit on the big size now compared to newer cameras

Advantages Advantages Super night shot and 25x optical and excellent stabilisaton systen

    Disadvantages Disadvantages No DV-in

First of all I like to say that the built in stereo microphone is great, also there is an accessory shoe for an external mic. Has a noise reduction which means great sound. The menu system on the LCD has lots of functions for those who want to experiment with their video's recordings. Has Backlight, Fader which is good. You can use Camera manually for ski/sports, Landscape, Sunset/moon if you want to try your hand at using the manual instead of the automatic. Has audio and i.Link (DV) out but no audio and i.Link (DV) in which is a shame because of the many good qualities of the camera. Great ... more
