My Dad bought this SonyHandycam a while ago now. It has come in very handy for a number of things, everything from recording family occasions to some of my school projects. We have also let friends borrow the camera to record their parties and take abroad with them. This is the same camera that you see on the sony adverts. And I believe this new direct recording on to DVD is going to drastically change the way we view Camcorders. It really is stupidy easy to shoot and film, even for novices such as myself.
The 1.07 Megapixels Advanced HAD CCD enables unbelievably true image recording. I'm not sure whether on the images it is still 1.07Mp's as I have another sony camera with 7.2Mp and the image quality is identical.
