For instance 3 scarts at the back, one of which can be set to output digital TV. That means you only have to connect the TV to your vcr with one scart and you can record digital TV whilst you watch analogue! It all helps.

Sooner or later, we're all going to go over to digital TVs. The whole thing has only been around since the late 90s so there's bound to be a few glitches and problems. Saying that, I've had the TV since Christmas last year and I've seen a lot of improvements.
Advantages: Class leading HD pictures, Well above average SD pictures, 100hz technology Disadvantages: Even though this set is cheap at £850, £850 is still a lot of money.
This is the TV I've been waiting for, for over 2 years.
The problem with nearly all sub £1000 High Definition, (HD), sets released to date is that they have poor Standard Definition, (SD), output. It has one of the best SD pictures you'll ever see. I'm constantly disappointed by friends so-called "modern" LCD sets that look okay showing 720p video, but look absolutely terrible when using Freeview. As 90% of the media I watch is SD, be it DVD or Freeview, it is essential to me that a HD set can ...

I bought this Home Cinema system along with the SonyKD32DX100 television and a Sony VCR.
The sound quality is the first thing that is brilliant. It has 5 speakers four on which have stands and a subwoofer. It has Dolby Digital, DTS & Dolby Pro-Logic decoders, 5 x 50w (RMS) satellite speakers and a massive100W (RMS) passive subwoofer. I found that the best movie to use thiese speakers in is Lord Of The Rings as you get the full sounds of the forest and orc's running behind you. Correctly positioned the speakers can rival any small cinema. It comes pre programmed with many sound settings depending on what you are watching. You can make use of all four speakers or the front two. Music such as The Rasmus sounds brilliant when played on full volume.
The DVD player is excellent. The picture quality depending on what TV you ...
