Wow oh wow oh wow!!!!!

After purchasing this TV for our newly built enterainment room i was deeply surprised!

I bought this online and a few hours after doing so i saw so cheaper makes offering bigger screen sizes and apparently better graphics and started to wonder wheather i had purchased the right thing.

To tell you the honest truth = i am glad i did!!! I waited for a few days (over the weekend) and it arrived that Monday and i was shocked when i opened it. It looked soooooo much better than it did in the picture; and now come to mention it, the picture does not justice for it!!!

I set it up on a glass cabinet i had previously purchased and i was happy to see it was not a cheap flimsy one that i would always have to worry about the dog knocking off - if was a fair weight but NOT heavy.

After setting it up i then switched it on and i followed the simple instructions (in 1 million different languages) to tune it in and fine tune the brightness and contrast.

My friend has a cheap LCD 42" and he litrally needs the curtains closed to get a half decent picture but this TV had perfect picture clarity in broard daylight (which is brilliant)!

It has built in FreeView which has a good signal where i live (in Ipswich) and the EPG (electronic program guide) is good. I am not using Freeview but have plugged my Sky+ box into it.

I would suggest getting a Sony HD DVD recorder and Sky+ to get the best from this truely amazing setup!!!

And for you xBox 360 fans out there - IT IS HD!!!!!!!!! My mate brought around his xBox (mine is being repaired) and it is spectacular. The picture quality is amazing and you can really notice the difference between my old 21" BUSH!!!!

As far as sound quality is concerned - i must say get yourself a 5:1 or 7:1 to get the most out of this LCD. The speakers built into this are good but to get true cinema quality you WILL need to upgrade.

All in all it is a great LCD TV and if i would have to recommend it i would say GO FOR IT AND TREAT YOURSELF!!!!
