I have had this TV for a few months now and overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. Although at certain angles, the picture on the screen can be difficult to see but this is expected from a projection screen TV.
Due to it's large screen, watching everyday programs and DVD's is a pleasure, it has a cinema feel about it along with awesome sound. The picture quality is also very good. The menu feature for this TV is also user friendly with large graphics almost like a PC format which allows you to adjust the brightness, contrast, sound, MHz etc.
Picture options that are available are smart (enlarges the picture), 4/3 (reduces the picture quite small), 14/9 (reduces the picture slightly), zoom and widescreen format which i think suits the TV better as it fills the screen and doesn't cut anything off the picture.
You can also watch 2 channels at the same time as the screen splits in half and you can alternate the sound between the 2 using the navi key on the remote control. Very useful feature when football is on and there is someone that doesn't want to watch it.
Other various options are sound whereby you can have Dolby, Dynamic or Natural sound or personalise your own. It also has a picture mode where you can choose to have your personal settings used or either a 'Live' or 'Movie' setting.
If you have other Sony devices connected to the TV, the remote control will recognise this as it has a digital selector on it and will control either TV, DVD, VCR and AUX at any given time.
The teletext option is good as the screen splits enabling you to still view the desired channel/programme whilst using the data service.
The TV comes with 3 scart sockets as standard at the rear and so linking my DVD player, Freeview box and sub speakers was a simple and easy process.
The TV also has a smart side reveal panel with TV control buttons (in case of loss of remote control) and audio connection for adding speakers etc.
It also has very clear and easy set-up instructions on-screen to enable ease of installation, preventing you from trawlling through the manuals to find out how to set it up.
At a very competitive price at £899.99, I am very pleased with this purchase.

Advantages: Incredibly unbelievable realistic dynamic visual and sound quality providing the ultimate home cinema experience. Disadvantages: Maybe for some the size, as houses are not built with as generous room sizes anymore.
