* SONY "Driveman"??? ...
Review of Sony NV-U52 by  smudgeybabes

Advantages: Good, cheap, simple.
Disadvantages: Can get lost or stolen.

...The reason I am writing this review, is that I recently had a problem with my good old TomTom, and thought that perhaps it may have to go to the electronic graveyard in the sky (but how would it find it's way there?) Anyway, I had been checking out a few options, these were never needed, but if they were, then this little beauty would have been a fitting replacement. SONY History etc. You have of course heard of the maker before, and may well have visited their website - http://www.sony.co.uk/ There is no truth in the story thast it stood for "Somewhere Outside New York" The name Sony actually derives from the Latin word sonus meaning sound and the English word sonny-boy - a term used by the Americans in the 1950's to denote a bright youngster. Originally it was called Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo (Tokyo Telecommunication Engineering... Read review

Review of Sony RDR-HXD970 by  Jemma_C

Advantages: pretty much does everything it says on the tin plus a bit more.
Disadvantages: only downside is lack of dual digital tuners

...i was 22 recently and was bought this as a birthday pressie (love you mwah!). It cost £257.94 from 247electrical.co.uk. we had the previous model (RDRHXD860S) but just as alot of other reviews say ours broke down too. This machine seems to be far superior to the previous model and is far more intuitive to use. In operation it runs almost silently and performs at a much high speed (the 860s had a noisy fan and always had a slight delay before responding to each command). All recording has been performed faultlessly and the ability to jump advert breaks at the touch of a single button is great. The 250GB hard disk is very rapid in it's operation and provides huge storage potential. This recorder from Sony employs Bravia Theatre and Theatre Sync technology to give you high definition images via 1080p upscaling on all your DVDs... Read review

Advantages: Mostly
Disadvantages: Not really that comes out loud

...If any one requires a tiny MP3 player, can try this one out. At 89.5x25x15 mm weighing 29 grams probably the tiniest MP3 player doing round in consumer market. The new Sony NWZ-B135 is a USB MP3 Player has class written all over it. DESCRIPTION NWZ-B135, has a very aesthetic design, portable fits snugly into your pocket. The USB can be hooked in directly to the PC which is hidden under a flap. The play/pause, forward and back functions of manageable size are right there in the front beside the screen. The screen displays name of the tracks and artist. It is also provided with a time counter and battery indicator. The screen glows red with the music. FEATURES Now before the discussing the features of this cute little MP3 player lets take a quick look at its technical specifications which varies from country to... Read review
