Sound wise this is one of the best sounding headphones I have ever used. The clarity of the sound reproduction is flawless, the headphone has 3 channels to allow the user to adjust the sound balance, allowing the user to find the perfect mix as it will of course vary between whatever CD, programme or otherwise the user is using the headphones for. This is generally a well designed and easy to use feature, but there is also an excellent auto tune feature for those who do not wish to manually tune in. The volume adjustment knob is located on the right headphone and is easy to use and acts as a volume control for both the left and right hand side. The volume one can get with this headphone is immense and unless your nearly deaf like me, all you need to do is generally turn the source volume high i.e. your TV or CD player and put the headphone on a mid to low volume level. If you put the headphone volume on high and the source is on high you will get some unwanted 'hiss'.
Included are large and small phonon jacks which should plug straight into most hi fi and TV sources. The headphones require and come with 2 triple A batteries, these are inserted into the right side of the headphone; the batteries can be recharged when the headphones are placed correctly on the recharging cradle that is provided. This can actually be slightly annoying, as sometimes getting the headphones in exactly the right place to charge on the cradle can be harder than would appear. This is probably the only real fault, and a minor one at that. All in all, this is an aesthetically pleasing headphone visually and sound wise. This headphone will probably a bit too pricey for the casual music listener, but for those who want to make a good long term investment in a high quality pair of headphones, this is your pair.
